Really weird...

I noticed a small inconsistency with the dates/times on this site. Take a look at this:

How could Ghosty_Square have posted at such a later date than when he last logged in? ??? :O The only way I could see this as possible, would be if he stayed logged in all that time, which I highly doubt...[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

thats the last time you have manually logged in. it only updates the last logged in if you press the log out button when you leave the site.

So you're saying he stayed logged in all that time, but didn't press log out, and the site automatically logged him out? Then when he came back here to post, he still had the cookies on his computer that allowed him to post here without having to log in again?

the last login will update when u log in, that needed because cookies files removed or if u logout(or stay login option disable).

The cookie is set to expire something like a year from when you last logged in. So as long as you don't hit the logout link or delete the cookie manually you will be able to come back and be automatically logged in. That doesn't mean you show up as being online all the time, the online listing is just people who have been active in the last 15 minutes.

Unless i delete my cookies, i always directly connect to this site without giving a pasword.

And when i leave i simply close the window

Yep, if that is the case don't set your cookie to always stay logged in or just logout when you are done.

They can not use my dune2k account as you have to give pasword to get into my desktop after each startup. The same principle when my screensaver went on

Not if your computer is accesed with different user accounts. Usually and depending on your browser they store the cookies in your user profile directory. So one user only has acces to his or her own cookies. Be carefull with some public / school computers, some of them just have a global cookie server witch results in any of the client computers having the privelege of all the stored cookies. .. :-
