What happened to Duniverse?

ahh I remember when Duniverse had equal posts to the General forum. Arent people focused on Dune anymore? Its just kinda sad. I hope more people participate in the Duniverse Forums. Its too much fun to talk about Dune stuff. Just nobody has brought up cool stuff there really lately. Anybody see what I mean?

there are just more topics to talk about in general, most things have most likely been talked about in dune forum.

It seems to drop off every little while, then pick up again. With the current political situation and religious connotations, it's no wonder general is pretty active.

same thing with fan fic. we use to get more posts than duniverse did for a while....but that stooped reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaal quick hehe

I used post everyday at least in 5 threads in Fanfic, but for some reason I got a little bored after a while :-. I don't know why...

i also actually participated some in fanfic....i am coming up with a new one that has to do with humans, elves, dwarves, orcs and such...also with a map and info about each city/town...coming soon.

I like the duniverse boards but there really isn't a huge amount of stuff regarding dune that hasn't been brought up already.

i think not. it is better for organization, and the posts would not be at bottom of page.

Dude_Doc: Yesterday, there were 521 new posts on this forum and 19 new topics. The day before there were 657 new posts and 23 new topics. If we only used one board, you'd have to go back 6 pages to find posts made while you were sleeping.

that is actually one of the reasons i like this board. it's spread out more. that way i don't have to, like mahdi said, go back even a page to see what i've missed while i was sleeping or at school. :)

i sometimes sleep and i sit in front row. but it is university though..i never get enough sleep..maybe 6 hours a night.

i am supposed to write a 1500 words research essay on dune and its politics and religion but cant get a lot of info.

well im not sure..it is for ENG 101 at university. it is a research essay and the best aspect of dune i can think of is religion and politics. will also be looking at religion and politics in science fictiona and fantasy(so i can actually write 1500 words.) it will be hard though
