How many hits per day does this site get? there are currently 16 users online and 4/5 guests (more then any renegade website which has 40,000 people on the ladder)

Give or take a few page-requests but about 300.000+ a month I guess.

300,000? Where did you get THAT number? Back in our heyday or E:BFD and miniseries news we were pulling in 2, 3 thousand a day, but never 300,000 a month!

I'm not sure if I still know where to go to find the hit info, but I'll see I can I can find it. You used to be able to sue the hit counter on the main page to work out a rough estimate, but now that a lot of people just bookmark the forum and skip the main page altogether, it isn't an accurate gauge of the hits anymore.

Distinct hosts go by IP address. I think page request is anything that is being loaded from the server, so images, html pages etc.

The request of a file to the server. And although it's usually desrcibed as an HTMl context, in server-logs usually they are all files requested.
