i dont know haven't read books in a while, i think so. did you know that LotR was to be made by mirimax with peter jackson and mirimax wanter him to have one film instead of two :O :O :O (that would make it another Dungeons and Dragons movie :P :P) and so he went to new line and the guy htere said "why the hell would you want to make two movies?? there are three books right?" so there are three movies instead of two or one so the LotR movies are saved.

the dungeons and dragons movie was horrible. Special FX were ok but the movie was just so wrong. It looked childish (especially the bold guy with pink lipstick)

Well...the movie is popular here too, but not that popular :O

Maybe it has something to do with the shooting site of the movie. Most of it was filmed in New Zealand, wich isn't very far away from Australia :)

Great movie, I just decided that I must now also read the books. Uncle Viggo is awesome, and Gollum/Smeagul is one of my favorites too, I don't know if I like him or hate him. Peter Jackson really did a good job.

give him a break. do you have any idea how hard it is to make a movie off a book and actually get people to like it on both sides? you gotta figure there ARE people who haven't read the book. he's got to appeal to both audiences. in all, i think he did a pretty good job.

Well, your opinion is pathetic. No one ever made a movie without deviating from the book and you know it.

Almost everyone liked the movie, so in the chorus of the majority, your voice will be but a whisper.

if it stuck DIRECTLY to the book there wouldn't have been a point in going to see it. there were a few changes to throw off some of the fans. he did good.
