Hehe, I just joined a very strong clan. Wolfpack, ranked #75. It already has many sectors under its complete controlb and soon to be my sector too - 22:41. Then, we might just get to 42, 43 or 44 ;D

So does that game. and you don't have to wait real time to do stuff. I highly recommend you at lest try it. Its a good game and like DG but i think its better. But you can do whatever you want to.

thats normal. if its ur homeoworld. its so that other players cant atack you.

Other players not knowing your coordinates to your homeworld can be a very good thing if you use it to your advantage. All the PK's raise your hands. ;D

If they know what sector you are in, they know what coordinates your homeworld fall into. I am in 42 sector. My coordinates are thus 22:42:00:00 for my homeplanet. But they cannot access those coordinates.

What use is it to know because you can not attack homeplanets atleast that is the understanding I have of Darkgalaxy. Ever hear of anyone in thia game losing their homeplanet?

It's possible to lose your home planet. Set your population to 0 and you won't ever get a worker or colonist. That's what I figure. And there are glitches to allow you to lose your home planet, check the forums.
