i think Frank Herbert drew alot of his inspiration for the houses from ancient Greece ->

Atreides = Athenians

Harkonnen = Spartans

And the Ordos are a mystery -> let it remain so.

The Ordos are simply rich people that are united to control the spice on Dune, they're the invention of WW. Though, I do like the Ordos for their sneaky and greedy plans.

This reminds me again of the bad review for SuSt2.

The reviewer had a problem with the fact that German units responded in real German and also the same was true for the Russian and Japanese units.

He believed they should all respond in english since that is arguably the language of the world gaming community.

Very intolerant chap, i gathered. :P
