Put it this way, if I've heard nothing about such 'coverups', I doubt there's much truth in them.

And catholic child molestation has got to be something different. That's in the Catholic church, not the CoE, for starters... let alone what it is in other places.

"which isn't bad considering about a tenth of the population plays it"

.1 of the us population is .5 of the UK population. So there are probably more Americans playing football than there are Brits. And the English team was only knocked out by the champions... Moreover, you cannot rate a country's success in a game by their success in one competition.

I'm not making it up. I thought the scandal was all over the news in England. No, it has nothing to do with the Catholic Church. I didn't mean to confuse anyone, I thought it was common knowledge.

There is one article if some of you are wondering what I'm talkin about.

Here is an even better one that mentions "cover up."

Soccer: The US lost to Germany and that was just barely. If the German goalkeeper wasn't damn good, the US would have had that one too. They played many good countries: South Korea, Portugal, etc.

Anyway, I'd take watching two average football teams anyday (football as in American football).

Yet still, there was a major coverup of Catholic priests molesting young boys (since that's all they can get their hands on, according to South Park).

[qtuoe] just want to say something real quick...While I'm American, and semi-proud of it, Bush is a moron. An idiot. A bozo. Period. His expression in this picture says it all

bush is a great president. a leader. an honorable man. a refreshing spring breeze from the morally bankrupt wiles of clinton/gore.

lets all hope hillary bozo runs for office in 2008, that will get the republicans elected again. :D

You call Clinton "morally bankrupt", but let's see here...

Bush is a clueless, big-business-pushing, party-line towing, draft-dodging moron. Otherwords, a typical republican. ::) You want to know the Republican party line? "The rich get richer and the poor get screwed." ::)

BTW, there is nothing wrong with being a "liberal". Being a "liberal" simply means you don't tow the party line. ::)

ohhhhhhh harsh words leto

yet i agree with you.

Republicans care about three things.

Themselvs.

Power[fitting in with themselvs how about that]

and the destruction of forign nations who raise a finger in definece against the big bad god like united states of america that is the only super power left in the world and thinks that it can push people around becouse of it ;)
