Hello. I am sure you have all heard about the American Senet and Congress and another simple minded legistative groups.

Most gamers know that we do not have a voice in Washington.

Most gamers dont know that the publishers have a group defending theire right to make games the IDSA. The Interactive Digital Software Association was founded in 1994 to defend the rights as game publishers. When Colonel David Grossman called first person shooters "Murder Simulaters" The IDSA was quick to work. Demanding that he provide any form of proof. He was unable to.

The St. Louis county ordinace criminalzed the sale of M-Rated games to minors. The law was specifly desighed to to tailor to games. Theire was no mention of R-rated movies or Music. The IDSA was quick to file a suit. They lost. They apealed the states supream court. They lost again. Now the case rests to the supream court of the United States.

As you noticed they only work in the United States. No mention of a Gammer led group was sighted. If the IDSA were able to fight the Law in Greece several months ago banning all eltronic games. They would have and won. However they are only a national group. A international coilation to defend games. They are not only are entertainment they are art, and censoring them violates the first amendment right of America. And many other laws in civlized nations.

We will fight for are right to game. For are right to make games on a international level and for a Voice.

You can help protect the environment, help fight famine and poverty, help to bring human rights and freedom to the 3rd world, etc.

There are organizations such as Greenpeace, Amnesty International, The Red Cross, and so on which can use your help.

Well yeah, sad that so few people actually do something for those organisations. My parents donate to Amnesty and Greanpeace. But some people just need a kick in the ass to have them do something.

Yes you can. However if the United states goverment gets what they want. all games will have to go threw them.(only in us of course) any game they dont like they can pull the plug on. Or censor it heavily. anyone who byes a M rated game and is underage could pay a large fine and or be thrown in jail....

I dont know how it is in european countries. but the Greek incident should not be repeated elsewhare now should it?
