I think the Butler family is gonna be wiped out (die as martyrs) and whoever takes their place as head of the League of Nobles will carry on the fight against machines to their victory at the Battle of Corrin.

i Read it and loved it. i got it for 9.99 hardback. why doesnt a big movie corporation purchase dune and make a decent movie. it will become like lord of the rings, many people will buy the books. and everyone will be happy.

Except for those of us who think Hollywood is largely computer-generated crap (and yes, I am somewhat including LotR in that generalization). Personally, I liked the Lynch version of Dune.

did anybody agree with my opinion? or am I just the minority who thinks that though the prequels are great, it did not capture what frank wanted and it did not show a very good history of the jihad. Hey, at least it is something though. Something is better than nothing. :)

Even though the prequels were not as expected you have to admit that there were some pretty humorous portions.

Including, the probe that was eaten by the Sandworm in The Bulterian Jihad. ;D

even though the atreides kicking sadukar ass was nice.... :)
