But if it is a max of 5 games against one player in a month then thats dumb because, there randomly maccthed, and if someone has played the other 5 games and they meet a 6th time and one person follows the rules the other guys going to come on here yelling " DUCKER!!!! ", and one more thing, if thats so, the few people who play qm may run out of games sooner, :'(. Until next post, Vilgent.
xvayne Posted August 17, 2002 Posted August 17, 2002 There is no limit any more for qm, but ipfun is out of the list because those games are fixed. The last game lasted 7 mins, ipiphura had 5 builds, which were his starting ones, and only had 1 plane, which means he didnt upgrade his ref.

xvayne Posted August 17, 2002 Posted August 17, 2002 The limit only allpied to when ww was around, back in the day, lol. There are less players now, so t only be able to play 5 times would suck. Besides hardly any one ever plays more than 5 any way, so it really doesnt matter.

Well, Xvayne and his Xvayne's Cheater's List can't, in any case...the guy who runs his own Xvayne's Cheater's List and then calling it Xvayne's Winner's List even though he refuses to remove people who have been proven to be cheaters, ...and now he himself says the Tournament Rules are irrelevant...! Certainly is no point in *his* list and since 95% of Emperor is now newbies and the other 5% are cheaters, there really is no point in Tournaments any more either.

Besides, if people wanted to rig games, they'd just make new nicknames, push those nicknames and play a few games from each nickname...it gets them more points anyway. Think about it....there's absolutely no logical reason to keep the 5 match per month cap. If you can't acknowledge that, then you really are just looking for trouble with all you're anti-cheat ranting.

With real rules that ARE followed?Everyone knows Westwood doesn't care about QM anymore so their ladders in my opinion are worthless now. If you really care about playing Emperor competitively then get together and create your own ladders. It doesn't have to even follow the old WW rules and it doesn't even have to be the same format. There are many different ways tournaments can be setup, instead of coming here and complaining everyday about how people are cheating why don't you do something about it?!I come here and see another post about someone cheating way too often and it gets tiring after a while. If you ask me Westwood should either patrol the ladders for cheating or just shut them off completely because right now they are just a pain in the ass.

Chojin just copied the list without actually removing the names who cheated...or at least it seemed that way.There are other ways to run a tournament, but frankly, there isn't enough third-party interest to make any tournament practical. There's only a couple hundred people in quick match each month and having a non-standard system dividing the ranks wouldn't work.
