Fish Speakers or The Bene Gesserit?

I always wondered while reading GEOD why were those FS so powerfull and so important to The Worm :)? Were they God Emperor's personal Bene Gesserit of some sort. They were his death and glory...sob..sob.. so sad but anyway - who would you choose?

BG because they are good and realized their evil doings eventually. Besides, BG is more popular, can't be a victim to heresy can we now? ;)

It depends on what you prefer. Fish Speakers were fanatical and listen every order that Leto told. Its very good if you want adoration. Bene Gesserit had their own plans and were individualistic.

Personally I prefer BG, they hadn`t nobody over them.

Well the Fish Speakers don't need spice, though htey depend on their God's mood and orders. Sayanoq is also very important ceremony for the FS. They fight better than BG but they use brute strengh instead of the wearding way. The BG existed all the time after Butlerian Jihad while FS were powerfull only for 4000 years not much for the Duniverse. I personaly also chose BG...

The BG are a group of there own. The Fish speakers where mearly the army of Leto II because for known reasons he didn't use men as the fighters but woman.

The BG did have an army of there own. The role of that is verry important in Herretics and Chapterhouse.

Fish Speakers are fanatical. Bene Gesserit are determined. The difference is there. What would have been amusing is to see Bene Gesserit travel through time and coordinate a war between Fish Speakers and Honoured Matres, who are actually similar... But Fish Speakers don't try to kill their leader.

which in my odd mind is Leto's golden path to save humanity from the unknown.

But was it really? I thought in the book Heretics of Dune it said something to the effect of he didn't look all the way in the future only 4000 years. He didn't mention if he saw the survival of the Bene Gesserit.Though I think Leto had a soft spot for the Bene Gesserit.

Leto II did have a place for the Bene Gesserit but as usual the Bene Gesserit would not know where that place was because they were too blinded by their own sight. IMO

Leto II had a sofy spot for Ix. But in times he made them pay heavely for there insubordination.

Yes but also later in the Chroniciles a Bene Gesserit sister finds a message left by Leto II for the Sisiterhood that is what I am drawing from as a basis for my reasoning.

But the God Emperor also mentions that the only powerful group he considered destroying were the Bene Gesserit. And that includes the Tleilaxu.
