jacobdouds Posted April 19, 2002 Share Posted April 19, 2002 After a long time and many troubles, I have almost completed my MOD.It's a MOD that was original made to give the Ordos an Airship so they could actually fight. But then a bit more was done.Could any one give me any suggestions? These are the main changes so far.Tlielaxu Renamed to Bene Tlielaxu.Smugglars Quad enabled for all houses.New Units:Ordos Viper Jet. Built in Ordos Hanger. - A fast moving, stealthy fighter plane. It has a weak Ammunition.Zhuge Liang. Built in all Barracks. - A fast moving infantry that can't be crushed or picked up by a storm. Has incredible Health and Shield Health. But costs a lot of money to make and takes a long time to build.New Buildings:Ordos Helipad. Built by Conyard (duh!!!)Simple Ordos Helipad used for refueling the Ordos Viper. -This gave me a lot of trouble, please appreciate it!-any suggestions or tips? Stealth are good, this gives air advantage.I only comes one Quater at building Zhuge Liang...Then it stops building it. Its not my money i had 100000The PreBuild Base and Unit Count is not a problem with your mod.Smugglers quad is cool to have.All around a good mod if you wnat air war - like me....But you cant build the best infantry...Have you Enchanted the AI - its smarter, it builds defenceplatforms and mongoose.Let the defenceplatform shoot in the air, to make the hark airforce better.And make a eye in tha sky to everyone, not with deploy ability, but to detect stealth aircraft. And make fround units much weaker, this will force you to use air.Thanks for letting me test your mod.It is the best one i ever played, without new graphic...So i give this mod 10/10 at the rating.You have made a good mod, but remember to make some more airdefence turrets...Maby you can make a aircraft hijacker?Let them hijack a aircraft at the ground and take over aircrafts.When the model-thing (the one with the real 3d - models not 3d texture) is hacked, you can make helicopters Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think it may be due to the amount of time it takes,it times out or something. I will experiment and get it fixed. There also seems to be some 10 dollars things left around. I will fix these. Same with the Viper damage.The newest version is attached to my signature, and always will be exept for major updates at Dune Editing, to save Nema and Gob some trouble.Newest version on sig fixing some errors. jacobdouds Posted April 22, 2002 Author Share Posted April 22, 2002 This is what I intended for the Viper;It was to be a fast moving, stealthy AirCraft, with weak ammunition and self Repair. Like a lot of Ordos Vehicles, I was trying to keep it in character. But since I couldn't modify the Stealth time without changing Fremen, I had to compensate by making the Ammunition even weaker.The removing of the stealth was an Accident and will be fixed.I'm all about balance, so please report any balance Issues you may have with new Units or Turrets. A turret that can be built on sand, getting it there is the problem.Tlielaxu: Living Turret. The living turret enabled.Imperial: Imperial Tank enabled.Guild: I will be making a special controlable surface worm. Currently in works.IX: I NEED IDEAS!!! help.I have given these Ordos units AA: PopUp turret - Laser Tank - Deployed Kobra.I will be enabling the Large windtraps, and A lot more unused things. I will be giving the Harkonnen the ImAPC. What should I give the Atreides?Due to the lack of new air units, I will change the name from 'AirStrike' to 'The Winds of Change'Once again, I am very concerned about balance. So please report any balance issues, including already made units.When I have completed the MOD, there will be one more update purely making the game balanced.
