Difficulty Rating

Question: Does anybody know what is up with the difficulty rating for each mission?

It seems like the higher the difficulty, the easier the mission. Or maybe it's just me. <laugh>

It's probably just you, although there isn't much of a difference.

but there's a mission which is hard. the Tleilaxu have some base which u have to protect. THAT was hard

Only mission where It took more than 30 minutes.

The standard missions are not hard with every difficulty, the hardest missions for me were: Gunseng vs Copec, Giedi Prime, Emperor Worm...

The irritating missions are the ones when you're up against the tlielaxu, they always get your harvesters and they have an impossibly large number of units at the same time. Contaminators are useless though, just evac all your infantry and let the tanks get to work  ;D

the mission where you get 7 elite devastaters in your base in the first minute :O

man you just try to kill THAT with 2.5k an dustscout an sabateur and an chemical trooper :O

you got another base though it isn't so large, only has an hangar, windtrap and i think an palace.

Well, that mission, they all self destruct.

When I played again, I imediatly sent all my things to the new base, sold buildings etc.

I actually killed those devastators once. :O

I found the Ordos homeworld mission hard.

Heh, seems everybody finds the same missions hard... Gunseng, Ordos home planet, vs Tleilaxu and Emperorworm :)

For some reason, it's always harder if you DON'T battle on dune... xcept for the Caladan home planet mission.

the difficulty rating is the ratio of your land and reinforcements against their land, reinforcements and prebuilt base.

Well with hard difficulty they attack as crazy, you must have a stable defense then, protect your harvesters very well. The attack force is not so hard to acquire then. But before that...

So that's why i got 100% difficulty when i had 6 reinforcements and the enemy 0 : :-/

The defend Tleilaxu missions have very looooooow ratings.

The difficulty rating is also depending of the mission you get in that region
