no

i have use devs for almost all of my hark assaults. ive realised how important they are for base defence, their ability to self-destruct is too valuable against hordes of infantry clinging on to it. Devastators cant beat a mino at a range. but if the devastator gets close enough a salvo and plasma burst will take it all out

Then the Devastators win. The Minotaurs do barely damage. And to move the whole line backwards is impossible...

In that scenario, Devastators would win, regardless of range. The mino salvos could only take out a few (like 3) devastaors head on, and by the time they (the minos reloaded) their guns, the devastaors would have already knocked out at least half the minos. And if all else fails, the devs could self-destruct.

Minos are faster than devastaters, and they have way more range.  If the devasters get close enough, though, the minos are all dead.

I encounterd that Situation before... 5 deva's against 5 mino's.. I only losed 2 Deva's and destroyed the whole Mino pack.  Their Rocket's sure kick ass though. :)

Their rockets are better than the plasma cannons against vehicals, for some reason (VERY UNREALISTIC).

I think that the Tank Devastator version is cooler, Atleast he had some speed And gets hardly damaged by Sonic attacks from Feds and Sonic tanks.

Reasonance:  If a sonic wave is at a certain pitch, an object will start to vibrate.  If the intensity is increased, the object will shatter or be shaken apart by sonic energy.  Unfortunantly, only an airless space can stop this, so even the devastater will fall.

Oh yeah? Did u noticed that flame tank's almost kills the worm instantly? I try'ed and everytime when i flamed a worm. The worm got killed.

And for some strange reason when the big Shai Halud comes up and swallows your units. Your units get promotion very fast when you shoot on him.... a bug of the game>?????
