As Caid Ivik pointed out with his link, the protests (the revolution? perhaps it is time to start calling it "the revolution") have now spread to the first non-Arab country: Iran. Of course, Iran is still part of the broader cultural area of the Middle East, so the revolutionary spark has not quite jumped across regional/cultural boundaries yet. Yet. I'm really hoping that it will spread to Europe. The Greeks were close to a revolution last year. They should have marched into Parliament, dragged out the thieving bastards, declared all international loans null and void, and established a new government and a new economy. It is time to give up all illusions about liberal "democracy." What we have in Europe and North America is not democracy, the government does not represent the interests of the people, and overthrowing it is perfectly legitimate.

The class struggle is intensifying everywhere. In some places, the workers are on the offensive - as in the Arab world. In other places, the capitalists are attacking. In the United States, for example, the governor of Wisconsin just threatened to send the National Guard against public sector workers in case they attempt to resist massive pay cuts and the forced destruction of their unions.

We should also keep an eye out for events in China. As I understand it, the workers there are itching for a fight, and the only thing preventing another Chinese revolution is the brutally repressive government. And, of course, let's not forget India, which is facing an all-out communist insurgency in the countryside...

We live in interesting times. The period of history that began with the fall of the Soviet Union has come to an end. This is the beginning of something new. I'm not sure what it will be, or even if it will be good or bad, but it is clear that we are entering a new period of history. And the primary cause of it, of course, is the global crisis of capitalism that began in 2008.

In other news from Egypt, I found this photo to be particularly inspiring. Muslims and Christians hold up a Qur'an and a Cross together, in a show of solidarity. The revolution belongs to all the people, of all faiths.

I discovered it thanks to this article on CNN, which makes a good point about the nonsense of the "clash of civilizations" idea:

Anderson Cooper was attacked by the pro-Mubarak crowd (otherwise known as the undercover police). I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened to Lara Logan, though it could also have just been some random thugs.

In other news, today there was a protest of 10,000 people in the US that partly took inspiration from Egypt:

We had the first victim from the revolution in Greece, Keratea: A pregnant woman aborted after the police (read: forces of suppression of the dictatorship), showered chemicals in the street under her apartment. Her other two children couldn't breathe and fainted. People are very upset and will certainly take revenge.

Members of the dictatorship and other political s*** are attacked daily by ungry citizens.

Dictators deny that the new mock elections will take place in April, but all parties are already preparing for them. IMO, there will be no elections in April, not because the dictators will not resort to them, but because there will be a full blown revolution by then. 1st of March will possibly be ZERO DAY.

As far as the Wisconsin 'protests' go. It is an insult for those spoiled selfish, bureaucrats in Madison, Wisconsin; to even compare themselves to the people who are dying to change the governments of Egypt and Bahrain.

The misguided so-called government 'workers' of the Midwest USA, just want to double our state income taxes. Then they can continue to loaf around doing nothing all day, stamping papers, and driving people into taxation poverty.

youtube video

graphic. But shows that country will fall next. Once more people see that video.

Although it is small and unimportant country, therefor won't get media attention. They won't report on it because advertisements won't sell as much.

EDIT:

Al Jazeera reporting on it.

What? Are you mad? They're not bureaucrats, they are school teachers, nurses and firefighters. They are janitors and road workers. And the reason they are protesting is because the Republican governor is basically trying to make their unions illegal, under the excuse that this is necessary to repair a hole in the state budget - right after he created that hole by giving tax cuts to the rich and lots of money to special interests.

And the people in the streets of Egypt approve the comparison:

tumblr_lgum8fVijL1qat9xfo1_500.jpg

Second, if there's anything causing budget problems in the US, it's the fact that taxes on the rich are at their second-lowest level since the 1930s, the fact that the government spent hundreds of billions of dollars bailing out the banks who caused the global recession, and the fact that the Pentagon takes up 63% of the annual federal budget and spends most of that on stuff that hasn't been needed for the last 20 years.

The workers must stand together, or they will fall together. Always, always support workers in struggle, even if you're not personally affected. If they lose, the capitalists will come after you next.

They should give the money to the people in need not to the bankers. And nobody should pay taxes. Government should be able to cut money when it needs them. Taxation is a trick to enslave the masses to the rich. But as I stated there is no government, only a World Dictatorship.

Do you have any idea how contradictory you are? If nobody paid taxes, governments would have no money. If governments had no money, how would they fund, for example, research, public transport, healthcare, the military, diplomacy, education...? And if there is no government (I'm getting memories of the NWO thread here) then who gets the money and why should they be able to cut it at the drop of a hat? If taxation is a trick then it's a very old trick, and people used to be able to pay in goods and services rather than just money.

Not that I'm entirely disagreeing with your hyperbole. Bankers have proven themselves rather inept with money of late, and it would be nice to see a few of the world's satrapies implode. A state without government, or indeed enforcable authority, would be an anarchy, you know that? Fun times.

Did you want to be more specific with taxation cuts that you may want to be seen?

Alas, our Libyan brothers (to the Greeks) are being brutally killed. Hundreds are dead.

East Libya is under control of the revolted crowds. Has Qaddafi abandoned the country? Is his son dead?

No internet, media censored in many Arabic countries.

China is the next one. Dictators there 'disappear' people, censor internet in a futile effort to prevent massive demonstrations that are under preparation. Targets: Shanghai, Harbin, Guangzhou and Chengdu.

World Revolution has started, but what will be the outcome?

The real dictators behind the scenes are thinking that they will manipulate the masses to enforce their enslavement to them.

THEY WILL FAIL! LIBERATION IS AT HAND!

The mad dictator used mercenaries (army is either deserting or taking the side of the revolution) from various countries to attack its own citizens. Hundreds are dying. If he survives, for sure he will be hanged like Saddam. People did a 'fair' treatment to many of them. Check Google for executing mercenaries (Shocking video, I don't provide the link). But here is a video with their passports:

The madman seems to control only Tripoli if it hasn't fallen yet. Even Libyan embassies over the world have taken the side of the revolution. Interestingly he is jamming telecommunications with equipment bought from USA under the blessings of George Bush.

Time for Greeks to demonstrate against the dictatorship. The demostration was massive as usual. And it turned really violent with at least 6 protesters seriously injured by police forces and serveral policeman set ablaze for revenge. Police as usual, arrested civilians with fabricated accusations to shut the mouths of political activists. But with many witnesses around such charges will fail unless the courts are set up and ordered by the dictators to create 'criminals' ...

Interestingly it seems that Conspiracy Cells of Fire is International and not only confined to Greece. So their first claim as a reaction to arrests of some of their comrades that they are many proves true. Here is the statement of the Dutch group regarding attacks on Rabobank:

Final statement Conspiracy Cells of Fire, Dutch Cell

The attacks on the fascists of Rabobank is dedicated with all our fire to our brothers of the prisoner’s cell of the members of Conspiracy Cells of Fire and the opressed people of the world. Our comrades and the honest minority of dignified revolutionary Persons political and civil, are not just a piece of our struggle, are not only an aspect of our action, but their choices, attitudes and dignity are the struggle itself as a whole, they are the substance.

Attacks we are claiming:

• June 2010- setting the tower in fire in Utrecht(Netherlands)

• October 2010- setting the tower in fire in Utrecht(Netherlands)

• February 2011-setting the tower in fire and attacks on the website of Rabobank in Utrecht(Netherlands)

Justice is a spider web, catching small prey and swallowing them, while allowing the big reptiles to penetrate and dominate it. Whoever disagrees can visit the prisons to see all these drug addicts and poor devils that fill them up and look around in there to find any businessman or politician who is responsible for the biggest robberies and the most brutal degradation of our lives.

We do not believe in a capitalist system that kills, steal, murder, bring modern fascism, bring racism, bring wars in to our lives. We do not believe in a system that helps banks for their mistakes, while people starving from hunger. We do not believe in a political fascist system that so called leaders of the people, and at the same time stealing from the same society for their interests.

Why Rabobank,

The fascists from rabobank where investing in the arms industry(the arms that they are investing is also going to the police, military in the Netherlands, Egypt, Greece, Israel, Libya, Algeria and other country’s).

Rabobank calls this justifies action, and we also get Shell, ING, ABN-Amro, Randstad. All these mentioned fascists company's of the system are paramount in their view that they justify the action.

The attacks on Rabobank justify what we call action! Future attacks on Shell, ING, ABN-Amro, Randstad these companies accountable!

In Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, the above mentioned companies and / or subsidiaries that have been attacked by splinter cells called the Fire. A truth that is not released by the representatives of the syteem. This shows our strong international solidarity.

We count rabobank guilty for the dead of thousands of people, including children. Like the most fascist company’s, they are saying that they behavior justifying action when they are investing. Our action against the rabobank is justifying action.

We are continuing our attacks and against the banks, executions of the so called government leaders of the Netherlands, against fascists party like PVV, VVD, CDA and the ass licking left parties.
