The Catalans, Celts, Native Americans, Aborigines and indeed most of India might have something to say about that. Among others.As for Libya, whether or not the West has a plan to replace Gaddafi, I doubt his belligerence was part of any supposed conspiracy. I'm not sure what that article is actually trying to say, but it seems to be largely "the West is trying to take over Libya through the uprising." Possible, certainly, but the West can hardly agree which shoes its going to wear, let alone what to do with a country.Today Libya tomorrow Iran and no other country is safe....I'm actually ok with that. The Kurds who are a distinct and completely separate people group have never had their own country.The West is going to try to control this up and coming 'wave of democracy' that is sweeping over the Middle East, but will find that it is simply unable to do so. Which usually involves different versions of Islam followers (Sunni vs Shia)?There was basically a civil war in Iraq between the two groups that they had to build walls between communities. Actually not crazy about The West/NATO trying to create 'client kingdom' after 'client kingdom' in this region. It is going to back-fire 100%, as usual when the USA/UK try to dictate the world's foreign policy as they have been for the last 100 years.Qaddafi and the Assad family have done so much killing and bloodshed over the past 40 years, that it is easy to 'jump on the band wagon' and fight for their removal, but this could be the beginning, or the next step, of a type of regional World War.
