Guest Ordos_Yogurt
How to create elite tanks quickly and efficently:make a circle of tanks and stuff, hollow in the middle. create a few carryalls and number them. Then simply grab the opponent's vehicles that are not defended from aa fire, and drag them into the circle. put them there. the thing will get shot down easily. after about 100 units all of the things will be elite. keep in mind to move elite units out of the circle. Acriku
as will ur carryall Not if it [the enemy unit] is isolated, or the Carryall barely makes it, etc.after usin 100 carryalls, ur gunna b a bit low on cash. Who says you have to have 100? Just make Team 1 Carryall grab a unit and put it into the circle, then tell Team 2 Carryall to do the same, whilst Team 1 go grabs another. Guest Ordos_Yogurt
the carryall will not get shot down after the unit is set down...WARNING! do NOT carry devastators in there!!!!!!!!!! (kaboom.)
Acriku
I think Fox means when the Carryall is picking up an enemy unit ;)

Ecto88
Hi I'm ECTO88I am really new at Emperor, and I have been trying to figure a few things... One of which is how to use a caryall to pick up a enemy unit.
robinsoncrusoe
When your carryall picks up someone you have to hurry up, as it ios vulnurable and will get shot by anyone unless you hurry up and carry it somewhere else. If not, bye bye carryall. Its all with speed. Pick up and go.
alphabeta4000
also takes a coupole of secs to pick up unit for balance reasons. It is in the rules file
nemafakei
If you wish to be really sneaky, you can try to ferry out all of the enemy units simultaneously, so none can take out your carryalls. Oh, and get in some snipers, inkvine, motarr, or whatever first.
dex
eto88 the advance carryall will pik the enemy units up but they have a cursor that will appear over an enemy unit if you do it correctly either your game is messed up or  your trying normal carryalls  :)
Guest The Spac
I don't think this strategy would be any good...Here are my reasons...1. While you are ferrying enemy units to and from enemy territory to your circle of tanks, your waisting time when you could be doing something more productive.2. The enemy would have most likely attacked your own units and defenses while you are busy trying to up your units abilities.3. The enemy wouldn't be as stupid(I hope) to leave their units to be stolen countless times. I'd say Five times tops, before they move some troops to defend their forces. nemafakei
Then (when the enemy has learnt their lesson) you use combos of tactics - fremen snipers to kill off troopers, infiltrators for anything else...
thomas
For elite minos fst line 5 up on the cliff of your base and have them spread an inch or 2 cm apart and use the as base defenses, have turrets at the entrance, works just as well with kobras and maybe missle tanks. Ligic_Tha_Master
I don't think the Carryall could get an enemy unit whitout getting blown to pieces. But it could work whit Harvesters.
IxianMace
Just pick up an enemy unit with an Advanced Carryall, and then hold down 'alt' to make the carryall move to any location. The carryall will hover when it reaches its destination, but it will NOT set the unit that it is carrying down. This will allow a Missile Tank or any AA unit to kill the unit that the Advanced Carryall is holding, with no fear of retaliation. I've used this trick against the AI to obtain Missile Tanks and Devastators with 3 chevrons quite often. ;D ;)
Devastator_Mech
I'll doubt an adv. carryall could get near an enemy harvester without retaliation.
Timenn
Many times, believe me. Carryall are stubborn and they will always place a Harvester too far away some times
ethan
i thought digging up old posts was against the rules.......i say IxianMace's strategy is best.
Devastator_Mech
Well no if there's always spice near your base.
Timenn
Digging up old posts is forbidden IF you have nothing to add;)Don't forget that the Carryall has a lack of intelligence
Devastator_Mech
Digging which post? And it'll usually go to the spice field thats close to your base.
Timenn
Yes usually, but they give some errors sometimes, and bring the Harvesters to somewhere else, they have a strange idea about 'nearest spice field'Digging up old topics, means, that you post in a topic what is already very old (and never posted in for a long while)
