They really do good games. I mean think at Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft. Every version was something else, for someone else, but still enjoyable by everyone. They might have employed psychologists.

In my opinion, Blizzard are a great company.  They've made excellent games throughout the years, and the Warcraft series continues to shine as one of the greatest ever made.  World of Warcraft is - as the song says - a feeling.  If you don't like the fact that you have to pay 30 pence a day to play arguably the best MMO out there, with great people, fantastic gameplay and a fantastic looking expansion pack announced... then fine, don't play.  You're missing out, though.  Erjin, stop listening to Erjin! :P

Which is why they intend to step up their consumers' loyalty with a money-machine WoW?

Blizzard isn't forcing you to go into WoW. If you don't like paying monthly, get Guild Wars. Similair to WoW, but without monthly fee.

I was amongst one of those who opposed to paying a monthly fee. But ever since I started playing WoW back in February, I've been sucked into it. Love the game and have no prob what so ever paying the monthly fee.

Btw, those interested in WoW like games, keep an eye out for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes ;)
