Most rural areas not split? I highly doubt that. Texas for example is 34% democrat, while it is Bush' home state. Also even assuming there will be another civil war, and this time between republicans and democrats (an absurd scenario), that doesn't mean that 88% of Georgia will side with the republicans, unless the civil war erupts because of gay rights (even more absurd)

That means nothing, 88% refelcts only their views on religion, but 41% of them voted for Kerry. Seems the rural areas are split.

But why would New york vote for kerry since Bush is protecting them by invading countries. You would think that New Yorkers would want to see as many terrorists dead as possible. Oh, wait Bush was in office when they attacked, maybe that is why (he only protected them after they were attacked, not before)? I dunno.

Yeah I read somewhere (forgot where) about a NY guy who said that the majority of the people he knew dispised Bush, and the way he uses them as a means of making excuses for his policies. Probably this is because they're more knowledgable about his way of dealing with terrorists, like dismissing FBI reports about impending Al Quada attacks with airplanes as early as july 2001.

(yeah, I watched Fahrenheit 9/11 the other day. Some pretty sick stuff I can tell you.)

Damn right, the south is still mad at the Yankees for the War of Northern Aggression, so they punish us with inept and/or evil politicians.
