I just got this game from my dad's friend. it is very awsome. im trying to find people who have this game so we can play online. I'm a monster at this game :D the first time i logged on i was accepted into a  clan :D. My dads friend also gave us medal of honor Allied assualt. Soldier of fortune is very cool. if you shoot some one in the arm there arm blows off :D. Like this morning i woke up at 5;00 am and logged on. I had a grenade launcher and this one guy ran by and i was hiding around a corner in a shadow and he  only saw me when he heard the chunk sound of the grenade launcher firing he turned to shoot me but the grenade hit him. i nailed him in the knees and both his legs came off he had stubs wer his legs were :D and the coolest part is when the blood squirts out :D

Coincidence deluxe....

I JUST got this game too.

It's so priceless to literally shoot the head of your enemies and spray their brains onto the wall.

And then to cut them in pieces with the knife afterwards.

lol. i like when u blast hem with the incinerary grenade how they burst into flames :D. i also like when you shhot em with the grenade launcher, how ther legs go FLYING in the air and land down

But regardless,

This is an awsome game! I got it when it first came out and liked it alot. Its one of the best FPS's out there IMO. Great graphics and great gameplay. I havent played it in god knows how long......one of these days I will have to fire it up again and let the chaos begin.... :)

the game sucks.

the gore is all it has, everythink else sucks compared to real online shooter like quake3 cpma or rocket arena...

you don't need skill for the game, it's slow and ... ah it's just boring...

The game was okay, but I much preferred SoF1.  SoF1 just seemed to be of better quality, while the storyline for SoF2 seemed scattered somewhat.  The level design and overall gameplay was better in SoF as well.

One part I did like in SoF2 was in the office building, where the lights have been cut, and you can see the enemies by their glowing green goggle lenses.

I dont know where you are comming from but SOF 2 had alot of skill envolved in it. It had the right textures and color depth. It had a good feel for a FPS...

So? Gore is really cool. I put down a lot of work on those bodies :P

Few other games play on gore, so this one is kind of cool.

And by the way...

Quake 3 sucks.

yeah right, quake 3 sucks... so that is why everyone plays mods.

but don't tell me cpma or rocket arena suck... only people without skill would say so. maybe you should watch some good players play the game and then you know what is skill... sof2 is for newbies only. even my littler my sister could own some server...

but watch this movie and after that we'll have another discussion about the skills necessary for sof2

As far as I remember there are healthkits in SOF2.

Hehe.... not in infiltration mode.... you get hurt... you stay hurt...

Sure in capture the flag there are health kits.. but that is to make up for the fact that there isnt a medic class.... however there is a mod that removes med kits and makes it so you can apply first aid to a teammate if you stand still and work on him.

That would be even worse. You can't heal a soldier who has been shot few times with shotgun with barely sticking some injection to him (a'la ET).

shotguns are powerful weapons buddy. you get hit in the leg with one up close you can say good bye to your leg. its alot of pressure shooting little pellets out of it. if you ever see a shotguns close range effect you'll be amazed. thats why its cool in this game because they realize you cant hit someone with a shotgun who's all the way across from you.

;d i rember i was playing a capture the flag match, was in a tower and the guy went to go into our base and i shot his foot off. it requires alot of skill to play this game. it requires you to keep moving and moving and moving and moving. if you stay still your as my dad names himself when he plays "easytarget" i play as solja or rayshadow so if you see me ill kill you :D
