Since the thread's reappeared...

I've just got my Undergraduate Handbook from the Clasics department, so within Classics, I'm going to go for the Linguistics/Philology and Philosophy specialisms, as well as a miscellaneous series on accentuation... but I'll also see what other lectures interest me from other subjects or other years. Currently looking for classes on Linear B, but I may end up doing more Homer sessions for the Mycenean element.

Oh, all undergraduate university degrees begun this year cost England residents

maths + comp science joint degree, tuition fees 1150 per year, accommodation (catering) 3500 per year.

Student loan awarded : 4095

3500+1150 = 4650 > 4095

And since I'm getting no help from my parents, this means I'm going to be skint for 4 years at least.

Here in Bratislava is university for free yet, Wien would cost something. However I've been awared that professor Kaczkova, who will teach me on Feministic Ethic is truly a hardcore feminist, well, it will be surely fun... However it seems there won't be opened ancient greek language course, with latin there aren't much free places for voluntaries from outer courses like me.

Ez second semester? Hopefully. As long as I do good first semester. Need to get a 71% average this year to keep my "second class standing" for my degree I think.

Tuition here is $1,575.00.  Of course, my Phi Theta Kappa scholarship will cover all but $500 of that, which my Pell grant and MTAG will make mincemeat of.

It's free for me to go to school, I just have to keep paperwork and grades.

I'm taking a lot of psychology this semester,

Abnormal Psych

Advanced General Psych

History of Psych

Special Topics in Psych

and

Political Science

My advisor said that I might go insane with this much psych.  I figure a little insanity from something like this would be a drop in a bucket.  A really big bucket.

Aiming to become an engineer?

I prefer to be a musician, but engineering serves as a day job. Besides that, it's a relatively easier way out. F Math means Fail Your Math, and Biology is too difficult for me (too content-based). So here we go.

It's about $4,571 for me taking 9 courses without books. Most likely $800 for books.

Looks like you need to go on a Psychology pub crawl.

Here's the front of the t-shirt

And here is the back.

Click for slightly bigger versions to make out text. The English society dropped the pub crawl the day of the pub crawl, but luckily we were able to get the engineering society (or maybe it was IT/CS society) to pay for the bus.

I designed that shirt in 15 minutes :P Good pub crawl. Got a discount when purchasing my t-shirt. :) Makes a good addition to my 7 other pub crawl shirts. Plan on going to a dozen more this year :P

Sounds... fun.  I think.

I'm not usually a big one for parties, but, hell, this might be the semester I let my hair down.

Wow, according to some calculations, I can get up to 3 certificates if I go back to school for one more year after getting bachelor of business administration with a minor in economics degree.

The first certificate I was planning on getting is the Finance and Economics certificate, which requires several courses.

The second one is the accounting certificate. Need 4 courses to get that.

The third being a HRM certificate, but would require me to go to college afterwards for probably a semester and then get "on the job training". I already have all the courses for this, so only "holiday" (Holland) College afterwards.

To get these, I would have to take 2 spring courses next spring, and 9 courses through the regular semester.

+ = Finance and economics Required

- = Finance and economics Elective

* = Accounting required

/ = Accounting elective

Some courses overlap, as in some are elective for one certificate and required for another.

Spring courses
