What you have against Communist Party? We have one here, they have about 14 members in the Congress and for some people they must be the legitimate goverment.

Do these countries call themselves "communists" or do other countries call them "communists". There are no "communists" countries but the word is in the dictionary : a system of government in which one party controls state-owned means of production sounds like China, North Korea, Vietnam, Cuba and Mongolia(?)* they may not be true communism but they are very close to it. So on what terms are these countries being defined?

*(Mongolia does recieve some type of help from Russia under the form of communisim.)

I guess its the Chinese "sphere of influence", which includes North Korea.- all labled "communist." The Chinese appear to have a government that resembles the Stalin dictatorship in Russia- called "communist, but really dictatorships or Oligarchies(rule by a small group, i.e.- the Party" who manage and control the resources according to a set policy- given by the small group in control( small in compare to the entire population - such as China- population over 1 billion).

I agree, its called communism- but its not really. Its definatly not a democracy. This is true of the United States as well though, - The US is not really a true Democracy, its more of a republic- with a senate, a president, all elected, but not exactly by popular vote.

Ideal communism is noble, but there'll never be IDEAL communism. When a country says they want communism, they want everyone to be treated equally and have the same amount of money. Not everyone DESERVES to be treated equally. Yes, all races deserve to be treated equally, but lazy, bad people shouldn't be treated the same as good, hard-working people, etc.

Taxes aren't so great, but remember this isn't exactly a free costing country, deal with it or go to Mongolia. And yeah Bush is pretty much a mistake, but remember he was the only candidate popular AND pro-military.

Seems we have gotten on to Bush so I'm going to throw in my complaints about him...fell free to shoot me when this becomes all out war on the thread.

1. He's just an idiot with no idea of how to run a country...whoo-hoo his dad was prez so he had to be. Oh yeah it only took a month and tons of recounts to finish announcing election results.

2. Missile Defense Plan. The United States should not withdraw from the Anti Ballistic Missile Treaty, doing so would mostly likely start a new Cold War and spark WW3. Also the plan has little chance of success anyhow. And don't forget he tells the press in the US one thing, Europe another, Russia another, China another, Japan another, his advisors another...(anyone get an indication of what's happeneing? He tells everyone a different thing when discussing the plan, he tells them what they want to here and then blatantly disregards it) like I said in point 1, he's a big idiot.

3. Stem Cell Research. It depends on your moral views here. I personally think and any science textbook will back me up that embryos are the earliest form of human life. (he wants to take stem cells out of them.) Now I've heard the response before that you'll say a human is only human when most of their organs are human and look human...aka the fetus. Well if you kill the embryo for its stem cells then it will never become what you'de consider human and in effect you would end a life before it began in your point of view. (I bet you can guess my views on abortion too.) I actually have been watching this topic and other cloning related topics closely.

4. Did I mention Bush is an idiot? Oh well his vacation is sweltering hot Texas. His Vice President's vacation is Jackson Hole, Colarado. I think Cheney is smarter than Bush...that is if he doesn't die of a heart attack first.

Sorry if I offended anyone. Oh and on the offhand someone wants to press me on not being able to complain about US leaders...I am a US citizen and I do have the right to question my leader's incompotence.

I'll have to agree with you on number 2 & 3 Ordos45 those are every important issues. Yes, taxes do sux TRH5000 but they are needed for the benifit of the people you know roads, schools, etc., etc.

He is our president and our representative abroad, and deserves respect for that as does any other leader of a country.

Well i too think bush is a dumb ass. but i disagree with you on the stem cell research thing. it will lead to brakethoughs in the fight aginist diabitis and altimeerz. my grandfather and demention. its almost the same as altimerz except that in demention then know there losing there memory. you can also guess my veiws on abortion. i just dont want this to turn into another G vs. E discousion.
