Bahamut Posted April 6, 2002 Share Posted April 6, 2002 Sure by themselves the minotaurus is vulnerable but if you group it with other units it is almost unstoppable.Here are some of my favourite mino combos.Minotaurus + Mongoose = Death to all AIR UNITS, infantry have no chance against minos, only counter to this is leeches but if you bring some repair vehicles AND engineers Tielaxu are nullified.Minotaurus + Mongoose + Snipers = The ultimate assault force!! - you've got all ranges covered and all aspects of enemy units covered - the snipers do a great job at picking off annoying advanced infantry (Fedaykin & Sardaukar Elite) Mongoose take care of armor (Ever tried to use 4 Mongoose against a Devastator??? see who wins - you will be surprised!!) and the good ole Minotaurus takes care of mass infantry ure snipers can't handle as well as base defense and buildings.If anyone thinks the mino rush is feeble now try and take one on!! my WOL name is Sparra83 - I warn you if you don't want an @SS kicking then don't reply to this challenge. ;D ;D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Timenn Posted April 7, 2002 Share Posted April 7, 2002 Mino-rushes is for cowards without any ideas for a good strategy, but though should defend yourself against it. 1. Don't let it come thus far.2. An mixed Harkonnen army is quicker builded.3. Use replica's of Mino's/Launcher/Deviators4. Use projections of fedaykins (5 for 1 mino)5. Use Inkvines, for they are fastest of all of this6. Call some Shai-Hulud7. When the (slow-moving) mino-rush is on it's way the base of the enemy is weak defended (use engineers etc.....)8. Use infiltrators, for they might not be able to destroy themselves, but mino's will fire to close to other mino's...9. Cliff advantages with the defender must not be underestimated...10.
