After the loss of Swaziland the members of the South African Armed Forces attacked the entrenched positions of the Egyptians (i think thats who u r AK).

The Egyptians were ousted after barely a fight.

But the war fervor was on and a campaign of southern unifacation was on.

After three weeks of fighting and war all of Southern Africa (everything up to and including Zaire) was under South African control.

Egypt was going to pay for its invasion.

The newly created South African Dominion was preparing for war.

Sorry, but you can't just conquer 8 countries in one sentence like that. Especially since I aready gave you 3 countries (Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland) for free. If you want to launch an invasion of southern African nations, you have to role-play it like we're role-playing the invasion of Eastern Europe.

In order to complete the giant pincer movement on Serbia, Greece's national army joined the war in the Balkans by invading the small nation of Macedonia. Macedonia had a stable democratic government, but the majority of its population lived far below the poverty line. They had no communist party, but after decades of rampant unemployment and universal poverty, most people hated capitalism. When the Greeks invaded, the Macedonian army refused to fight. After all, they didn't actually have anything to fight for. So they welcomed the Greeks as saviours, and began to rediscover the feeling of hope, as they looked forward to becoming a prosperous socialist nation and joining the European Federation.

OOC: Perhaps you didn't understand. When I said,"A few days later an unusually large amount of Nigerian troops boarded troop carriers",I meant that my soldiers were in Nigerian uniform, etc. So technically you don't really know its me.Oh, and I never said that I conquered Swaziland, merely that I was sailing towards it.So could you edit/withdraw your post, please?

Posted

occ: Ak if I know my geography right isnt swaziland INSIDE south africa? so you cant really sail towards it without running into me.

but i will back off my other dominations so that i will conquer all that in a couple of posts.

fair?

but the nigerian/egyptian/whatever army cant invade swaziland as

a) it has no ports

b) you have to destroy me first

i believe that is fair.

Seeing that non of it's FTO allies send a helping hand, South Korea reluctantly accepted the military aid...

The 2nd army was sent for the job through railway. However, at 20km north of Seoul, the train was "intercepted" by the rebels. The rebels had "looted" all military hardware from the train, including tanks, attack helicopters and such. The men of the 2nd army are all reported to be KIA, but what was left on the scene were only charred and mulitated bodies damaged beyond regonization and the train which was burning in flames. In fact, these bodies were those of North Korea criminals. The men of the 2nd army had joined the rebels with the command of the marshall.

Not expecting the the rebels to have hevay weaponaries and aid from the North Korea army, Seoul was captured. The president and his cabinets were executed in front of the people. It would only be a matter of time before the whole country is in the hands of the rebels.

Can I be Israel? (Ex, I know you wanted to be Israel so your choice....But you being Turkey sort of gave me a few 'plans'). If not, I'd gladly take Portugal.

Oh yes, and Edric, I don't face you head-on in PRP because thats your boards....Welcome to mine...

South African forces moved east, utilising their fleets the landed on and invaded Madagascar.

But the natives weren't budging.

Madagascar controled: 20% (25% per post)

May I make an group outside the 4 power blocks? I thought that it would be nice to have a slightly more independent team because it seems that this thread is going anywhere fast because no one is able to touch anybody else. My group isn't 100% detatched from the power blocks anyway, they were actually formed originally mainly by America and thus have some past FTO ties. However, they have basically been forgotton by the USA and the UN (another story) because of recent events and they are considering wether or not they remain fighting for the same values as they used to now the FTO has formed...

Besides, didn't somebody form the British underground? Also, most of the good ''official'' options to select are being taken quite rapidly...

We are able to touch each other, Sneak, just not directly. You can support armed rebels inside an enemy country, or you can try to instigate a coup or a revolution...

But I guess you can make your own separate group if you want...

After weeks of preparation, the European armies poured into Serbia from the North and from the South, in overwhelming numbers.

The greatest push was from the North. The 1st, 3rd and 4th red armies swept down from Hungary and crushed the token border defenders with ease. The attack took President Dragovic and his nationalist regime totally by surprise, but they had no intention to go down without a fight. The president held a speech in Belgrade in front of enourmous crowds, in which he talked about how this was a vile attack on the freedom and identity of the Serbian people, how they had been invaded without cause or provocation and how they would exterminate the communist aggressors for the glory of Mother Serbia. The crowds cheered, although it is impossible to tell if their support was genuine or if it was all staged by Dragovic's Ministry of Propaganda. Either Way, the Serbian Army immediately mobilized in great numbers and met the European Red Armies head on. Fierce battles took place in the northern region of Voivodina, but the Europeans slowly gained the upper hand. After weeks of fighting the pride of the Serbian military, the road to Belgrade was finally clear. And a few days later, the Europeans marched into the city. But this was the first liberated capital that did not give them a hero's welcome. It was soon clear that they had a long urban guerrila war ahead of them.

The Greek armies invading from Macedonia in the South had an easier time, but they made less territorial gains, because they took special care to fortify the border with Bulgaria. It was only a matter of time before Bulgaria was going to fall to Russian FTO forces, and the whole reason for the invasion of Serbia was to put a buffer between the Russians and the rest of the Balkans.

In the mean time, the revolution in Romania continued. The communist rebels had managed to gain the upper hand with the aid of the European 2nd army and they had established a new government (while at the same time declaring Romania a Socialist Republic), but in reality they only controlled about 60% of the country. In the remote countryside, the loyalists of the old capitalist regime continued to hold on.

The rebels came to power in South Korea, with the men of the 2nd Army as their leaders. The economy, military and all other aspects of the country had collapsed. Knowing that their country is now powerless, the people voted to be annexed by Nouth Korea. The Chosen Peninsula is finally unified again.

Philippines is now in chaos. The whole country is now torn up into a few parts. Mindando and the sorthern regions in the hadns of Islamic rebels, with support from Indonesia. Luzon, in the hands of the original capitialist government. Their corruption is the cause of the situation now. The Visayan Islands is controlled by numerous militas which had went to power, and started coups against the government. One of the milita, General Hahabi, had requested aid from North Korea...

North Korea had decided to send the 1st Army to aid the General. Accompanying them is the Red Griffion, a special task force of North Korea.

This would be the first step of the EAP in uniting South-East Asia.

(somehow Duke, I doubt that British agents in 2075 would use American service pistols that date back nearly a century ;))

Seeing as how the campaign in eastern Europe has become a dead end, the Kremlin decided to halt the campaign and be satisfied with their takings- Bulgaria and the Baltic states. The British troops that had insolently attacked Russian troops still had hold ups in the country but not for long- premier Chukov had authorised Zakarov to use any military means exept nuclear arms to destroy the British, including heavy weight bombers. In the meantime puppet governments were being installed in the new vassal states.

On Russian television the minister of foreign affairs has announced Russia will break all diplomatic and commercial channels with England, and that the Kremlin has opened dialogue with Argentinia and Zaire about possible initiation into the Free Trade Organisation.

Neither Argentinia or Zaire has formed a properly functional market economy, but there are other reasons for the Kremlin to want them in- rich uranium deposits in both countries, enough to extend the life span of the nation for several years. However, those deposits would run out eventually as well. Much of the army had been mobilised and ready to move out, wich caused much confusion and annoyance to the opposition, who like everyone else, still had no idea of the uncoming energy crisis.

The South Africans, hopefully, didn't figure out the Egyptians were helping the Nigerians. They probably wouldn't.

Meanwhile, Egypt had launched tens upon tens of propaganda messages into Mali, stating that their evil dictator was using the peoples money, the countries money to satisfy his beastial wants. The people had long stayed under dictatorship rule, and had long believed what the propaganda messages just said.

Now they were starting a revolution...

In short; The W.U.N.F were a secret organization formed by the the U.N in it's better day's (2025... let's say:D). At this time, the world was very peaceful and could almost be said to be in a ''perfect state of diplomacy'' in the way that their was very little international warfare occuring... A little to little perhaps, as the 2nd cold war has resulted. Resultingly, their was much exchange and co-operation between countrys.

Most warfare,battling,death,e.t.c resulted from extreme terrorism. Terrorism in the middle east was growing and growing and eventually the terrorist forces in the middle east massed a sizeable army making use of the large population, abundance of ignorance and hatred that was generally found in the middle east.

This terrorist army formed an extraordinarily effective hybrid of a terrorist, rebel and international force and quickly took much of the middle-east

Because of the delicate diplomatic (if almost perfect) state, petty squabblings amongst country's, international forces could not properly combat the terrorist army because doing so would mean striking at cities and the like

To the end of stopping this extremely dangerous new menace, the W.U.N.F were formed (World United Nations Forces)

With the great degree of international co-operation (and motive to be co-operative), the W.U.N.F easily got the most advanced tecknology, best training (due to taking the best parts from many different forms of training and due to many avaliable scources for effective training methods) and best info.

However, for political and diplomatic reasons, the W.U.N.F had to remain secret

With the advantages offered the W.U.N.F, the terrorist army was easily destroyed. In short: their charismatic leaders were assasinated, thus what made the army so succesful was removed... misinformation was spread easily due to the nature of the army... Super effective, efficient and perfect guerilla warfare destroyed the rebel side of the army without much international notice... The terrorist army was thus forced to move it's sizeable international force to conquer new countries and international forces were now free to destroy the new threat.

The terrorist army was weakened internally be fore-mentioned W.U.N.F methods and so though the battle was difficult their mass army was filled with chaos and eventually deterioated

Because of the amazing capability and success that was evident when international powers acted as one, a secret objective was beggining to be discussed amongst international powers in the U.N calling for the U.N to be used as a base for something new. (how do use make hidden text?)

Regardless of whether the powers were to agree or not, the W.U.N.F had already secretly taken the mentioned objective as their ideoligical goal. Because of the natue of the W.U.N.F, petty and corrupt goverments had no chance of controlling them through spying on them to keep them in check... With the supreme, unhuman and perfect espionage capabilities of the W.U.N.F, the W.U.N.F often amused themselves be joking about the attempts of such goverments to spy on them, simply giving them back their agents politely so that they did not have an excuse for an direct attack. Such an excuse would be needed because the W.U.N.F were worth to much to most international powers, corrupt or not, to be destroyed.

As the time progressed, and the U.N was abolished with the coming of the 4 power blocks, the W.U.N.F were forgotten and supposedly shunned to the point of death by the power blocks because of their international connections.

However, the W.U.N.F had actually escaped to the obscurity of the Comoros islands among other three or four other locations. In an attempt to maintain the international variety that made them such a force, these locations were strategically based around the world. In each of these locations the W.U.N.F have an HQ... The W.U.N.F possess little general influence and territory and have few bases and only a small, negliglible amount of troops (In terms of international invasions and such).

(Less important info, probably not worth reading):

The W.U.N.F was mainly made up by the USA, because they had most of the troops and military power in the U.N, however, because of the USA's founding of the FTO and hindrance to the ideological goal of the W.U.N.F, the W.U.N.F have shunned them and no longer serve under their authority

Because of the nature of the W.U.N.F and the tecknology they received 25 years ago/ are receiving, some of their tecknology is extremely outdated, some of it average, and some of it extremely advanced...

During the times of the U.N, the W.U.N.F, unbeknownst to most, were given possesion of a sattelite each from 4 different countries. These sattelites have been forgotten and the W.U.N.F have secretly taken them with them on their leave, to make this possible though, their connections to their original countries had to be terminated and so no information about those countries could be gained from them. However this was not neccesarily from a certain North African country that is longer in existance, as it is no longer in existance... the satelite now belongs to a small band of rebels alighned to the W.U.N.F who are in close communication with the W.U.N.F regional HQ

In a secret meeting room, almost at the top of mount karthala on the Coromos island of Nzazidja, Gab and his generals start entering the secret meeting room and begin making preperations for the meeting...

Because of the W.U.N.F's previously heavily international-existence, Gab had many generals and high ranked soldiers considering the small size of his organization.

Some pieces of what looked like rock were put together to make chairs and a table, a rock wall was swinged around from which pieces of rocks which were fitted into the wall were pulled off after which rock was scraped off the wall and several layers of thick (Could almost be described as saturated) dust was blown of the wall to reveal a huge computer screen.

Gab knew it was neccesary even with the events leading to the meeting were so localized, but still found it's unveiling annoying as it's ''re-packing'' would irritate him significantly during his personal plotting after the meeting

Gab and his generals were seated...

Gab looked around his to his generals... he had not seen them in many years, most events till now had no immediacy to be solved and were made up of many small events that would have gradual effects and so he mainly just communicated with generals through coded communications and the like.

He thought himself fortunate to have such freinds and the world to be fortunate that the W.U.N.F were led by such people. Each of the men had distinct personalities and each had the interests of all in mind, not the interests of a particular county... it was no wonder, as these men came from all parts of the world and with the founding of the power blocks had undoubtedly learnt how meaningless nationalistic feelings and the term country were.

While he was thinking there was silence as the generals took the time to consider smaller things and refresh their recent memory.

The darkness of the room seemed to go well with the dark in a philosiphical and symbolic sort of way... the peaceful un-erging silence of the room hinted at the way things were 25 years

Suddenly, the silence was interrupted;

General1: Gab, You have no doubt heard of what has happened

Gab: No need to hear about it, I could take a few steps out of this cave and see the impending empire outside... I assume all here know why they have been summoned, especially if they didn't arrive on the island from the west, as a few did.

The generals nodded

Gab: This is probably unbelievably bad luck..

The generals nodded again, though they were to emotionless and the room was to dark and dank to notice any despair among them

general2: Perhaps this could actually be a stroke of luck, now the W.U.N.F can more actively and directly attack their enemies without the power blocks plotting their end for political and diplomatic gains and deals... what do you propose we do?

Gab: Well, I did say that it was PROBABLY a stroke of bad luck... as for what we do, military intervention in some form seems best

General3: Indeed, we could destroy the docks, fuel and many of their transports in a single fell swoop if we wished, among other things, as all of those was highly concentrated thanks to the very small size of the island, the large size of the force that is based on quantity not quality, and the fact that the only port is at Moroni. After that we could finish them off, perhaps leave evidence to lead any interested parties that the huge terrorist potential of the Moroni islands resulted in a secret rebel force when the enemy arrived here.

General2: I believe the enemy would have sufficient reason to stick around longer for investigation, thus they would soon discover no rebel group.

Gab:Indeed, it is not yet time to cause actual destruction to the transports, but something must be done about them before they leave. Judging on how quickly and vigourously the fleet was sent here and how the sender of the fleet now seems hesitant, something has changed or gone wrong regarding his plan and resultingly the fleet will fortunately not be leaving for quite some time... more luck, wether that luck be bad or good. Resultingly, I think that we should have our forces ready to prolong our enemies stay at our lovely Moroni until more of our forces can gather here. I want permanent damage done to our enemies, easily repairable damage would be pointless as the enemy is probably planning on staying here for quite some time and will repair the damage during that time and will therefore not be slowed down by such action.

The generals indicated their approval

general1: What exacly do you propose?

Gab: I want some fuel supplies to be accidently destroyed, set alight, and ''robbed by the natives'' along with other important supplies, mainly the supplies used to keep the troops happy. Considering the crime-rate here, it will not be unbelievable that some things are stolen whilst the troops here mingle among the natives. Because the transport ships are cheap and plenty, and because their journey has been a fairly long with little rest, it will also not be unbelievable that their have been some accidents and that their have been some fuel leaks. With no fuel whatsoever on the island (Previously stolen earlier by the W.U.N.F, with the world not caring about a place as insignificant as Moroni and the natives caring little for the oil gains of their tourism and cash obsessed corrupt goverment) this should slow them significantly. For whatever plans the enemy has in Africa, they're going to need a hell of alot of food and the like to maintain a healthy, respectable, and sane army till they traverse the worhtless barren landscape that most of Africa is and reach the well farming villages( since the army is the quantity instead of quality variety, these things apply to them. Those farming villages are barely self-sustainable in their poverty, if the enemy does not have enough food and supplies to keep up a good international front without insane troops publicly committing horrific acts whilst they loot and ransack the villages for food to continue their conquests, it will be easy for one of the power blocks to find an excuse to conquer them. Resultingly, they will wait for the coming harvest of the plentiful fields of Moroni in the next 2 to 3 months before departing the island if their food is robbed... it will not seem a significant amount of time for them to wait as with the other power blocks currently engaged in affairs in Eurasia their fleet will not be noticed for some time

General3: Sounds good, but are you sure this will buy us enough time, even though our troops will be able to afford quick and easy transport because this place is not within the territory of on of the power blocks and they are small in number and can afford the fastest forms of transport, many of them do have to travel some way

Gab: Don't worry about the troops in the based at HQ2 and HQ4, they will maintain their position in case of the extreme unlikelhood that HQ's 3 or 5 are discovered in the next few months and because of other matters that they have attend to. I'm sure we'll find other ways of making sure the enemy stays at Moroni for longer anyway if neccesary... we will set a few secondary objectives for the team to be responsible for causing a leak in the tanks of the SSO1 transport and if neccesary conduct another missions with these objectives being of primary importance

The generals agreed, and the room was ''re-packed''. The generals then went about giving their orders...
