I would love to start a thread about Members experiences, in life, in general.

As this forum is truly International, maybe other members could post things that have happened to them, in life, so far.

I think this would help the Forum Members to become real friends.People would also learn alot about life, from each other.

What do you all think about this idea ?

Not really what I meant Andrew.

I mean like funny things that have happened to you, or maybe not so funny.

Something that made you think a long time about, or changed they way you think about something.

Story of Navaros:

One day there was a boy named Navaros who bought a game called Emperor: Battle for Dune. Navaros went to the official Westwood Boards and asked the regular Emperor players for help, but each and every one of them gave him worthless, stupid answers that did not help him at all.

Until one day, one of the greatest Heros of all emerged and gave Navaros his first working strategies. The name of this great Hero is Duke_Leeeto.

Navaros then went on to be trained extensively by the second-best Atreides player ever, after which Navaros eventually became one of the Universe's very best Atreides players ever, definitely in the top 5.

During the course of his career, Navaros has "outed" countless cheaters. Navaros pioneered "The Black List", which still is to this day, the most extensive and accurate database of all known Emperor cheaters in existence.

Navaros also pioneered "The Quitting Newbie List", which listed all lying quitting newbie jerks who purposely ruin the fun of all legit Emperor players.

Navaros owns one of the very best clans to have ever existed in Emperor, TCF. It's successes are astounding.

Navaros is often hated for having beaten thousands of people in Emperor; who deeply resent the fact that Navaros annihiliated them on the battlefield. He is likewise hated by all the cheaters of the Emperor Community for standing against their cheating ways. These totals account for almost 100% of the Emperor Community.

Navaros continues to be treated like a dog on fed2k for his steadfast committment to Justice, Morality, and telling the Truth no matter what.

The End.

And this, boys and girls, is why you should never trust a historian unless someone agree with him...

Something funny? Hmmm... my life seems so tragic at the moment...

Well recently I ate the list of names for our school show...

Hum, what changed my view on life is when I had my car accident...

My wife and I had broken up for somewhat a year I think, just had a new job with Cisco. Apart from the break up, everything was going quiet well. Made loads of money and had nothing to complain (again, apart from the break up).

I had been going out and was driving home. It was near 4am and I was doing something like 175km per hour (where only 80 was allowed). A roundabout (sp?) came up and I pushed my breakes. Unfortunately, for some reason which still isn't clear to anyone my breakes didn't work. I crashed on the roundabout and was lauched (the bottom edge of the roundabout was like <= that). I landed in the water 15 meters further. I don't know how I went or what exactly happened, but when I had a clear head again, I already had taken off my seatbelt. I saw the water coming in quickly where the fusebox was. I had electric windows and immidiately pressed all windows down. I turned off the engine (which was still running), left the lights burning (easier to find for divers I read somewhere) and climbed out of the car window (which thankfully went down without a hitch). A swam to shore. A guy had seen me and stopped. He stated he saw my break lights, but I somehow didn't seem to stop (some say the rain had something to do with it)...

When I was at the police station, I could make a call. Without thinking, I called my ex. I could have called anyone, but for some reason I called her... She picked me up and stayed together since. My car was total and it was only 5 months old (here's another pic

Hey Doc, this is getting really scary !!

we seem to have a very similar past history.

I just got shivers down my spine !

I'm not joking at all.

Almost the same scenario as your crash, except an oak tree was involved,Near Ahaus.

Sorry, I can't write about this :'(

This happened to me a few weeks back. It was in a dance club, I was on my way out anyway because I needed to catch a bus back home (it was around 3:00 night, and the bus I'm talking about was a service the dance club had set up for its visitors). Then, in front of everybody the guards take me aside and frisk me in an office, find nothing on me. Then they want to check my jacket (wich was deposited at a counter at the entrance) and when I refused (because I was really pissed and pressed for time) they said they would kick me out if I wouldn't let them. That was okay as far as I was concerned because I was on my way out anyway, but they checked my jacket anyway, took a sh*tty long time to do it and found nothing. They started to apologise and I left the building only to find out that the bus had already left. I wanted to get back in but they wouldn't let me unless I paid the entry again. Really pissed now, I dialed my home number and asked my parents in the middle of the night to pick me up.

I didn't even get any time to explain to my friends that it was a misunderstanding, so it was pretty damn embarassing to tell everybody afterwards that I really wasn't carrying any drugs.

Interesting thread. Something happened to me the other day, you guys might find interesting.

Although I say I live in Tupelo, I really live in a very small gated community several miles away. On my way home from school, I stopped at the mailbox to see a Sherriff pull out and go down my road. I usually leave my seatbelt unbuckled and drive pretty fast down the road, but this time I decided to take my time.

I made it to my neighbor's house to see two Sherriff's cars, a long black car, a white van, and a few deputies milling around wearing yellow (plastic) pants, the kind used for crime scenes.

I walked inside my house, and kept kinda quiet, when I got a call from one friend of the family, calling to ask if we were alright. Get this: She said her mother-and-law had heard there was a murder out where I live.

Scary huh?

2003, the time of destruction. There's too much to tell. Physical and mental damage. - and pain

An half hour ago I ran almost 2 kilometres to just see one person. In vain.

Oh, and guess what. Translation:

"You fucking idiot! I will never forget this! I thought that I spoke with person, who really was him! But it was you... Unemotional hacker! Where is the real person? Or did you scare him off?"

I didn't do anything. She hates me still. I got email from one boy too. Don't ask for translation.

1.

about 3 to 4 weeks ago, i went to the dance club with 3 friends, and i was the driver. Everything went well, didn't drink anything and we were on our way home. Then, about 10 kilometers distant from my house, i drive on the road, slightly too hard, but then i see a biker who wishes to cross the road. But i was on a (voorrangsweg, anyone know the english word?) and so everyone had to stop for me, besides i was already so close to him, that he should never even have dared to cross the road at that time. Yet he did, he didn't look if a car was passing, he just crossed. My reaction ofcourse was to go full in the brakes, and miraculously, i missed him... barely. If he was slightly slower, i would've taken him full on the front. A pretty frightning thought. But ah well... everything went ok.

Approximately a year ago, i was going to school, it was 8:30 in the morning and i sat in the train, lalala reading a newspaper. What happens? Someone commits suicide on MY train. he jumps in front of the train (didn't see him do that) get's messed up, and i see a fucking bloody leg lying near the train, barely 10 meters away from me. That was pretty sick. I heard all the people in the train screaming HAAAH!!. Luckily though i never got to see the rest of the body, as they kept the train closed, until the police came and removed the body.

Committing suicide is bad enough, but to do it like this, or jumping in front of a car is just plain horrible.... for the person who kills him ofcourse.
