Yeah....... :-[

We had a moment of silence today in school, it was really sad. Right in the middle of it this kid walks in late and is like blastin his cd player and were like "dude shut it off" and like he was spacin and like he took it off for a second and than put it on again and we were like "SHUT IT OFF!" I was so pissed at this kid I wanted to get up and grab his cd player and hurl it across the room , really pissed me off. That kid has no respect at all.

The only think I was thankful for was that nothing else happend today........

I know I'm a day late, but thanks for the consideration BlackThorn. Happy...isn't quite the word, but I am pleased my country's leaders decided to make a memorial day out of it.

yesterday on my way to school I was listening to K-ROQ, and really felt it during their 9-11 memorial clip that was like 10 minutes long. made me realize how confused I was on the 11th. :-[

Well an important woman was stabbed to death but of course in comparisson I can see that that would hardly could would it? >:(

I did think of this, but found it strange that i heard nothing about a memorial in the netherlands.

But is 3 persons not a low number for a big rememberance rally. I mean I guess there was a little come togheter for them, but nothing as big as in the US. We have one big rememberance moment once a year. That's on the 4th of May where we remember all Dutch casualties due to war, terrorism, etc. etc. It started out to remember those fallen in WWII, but nowadays we remember everyone who's fallen. The day after that (5th of May) we celebrate our freedom (that was liberation day, but once again it's transformed to celebrate are all around freedom; our change to live in a free country). Last 4th of May I was at the rememberance statue in my city, and rememberd all casualties of human-nature.

Why am I telling this? To not sound like someone that doesn't care. Thats not what I ment with my post in this thread.
