Quake 4 screen shots

I'm a Quake fan and quake 4 sounds like a very promising game just by the pics i have here and i assume its closely related to quake 2 story line which is the greatest in the quake series, anyway ive been searching the web and i came apon these photos from ID soft of quake 4

never! no game has ever surpassed the quake 2 atmosphere, you and you fellow marines are dropped onto stroggos by pods, on your way down you see yur fellow marines get blown up, or the way you walk around and you see your marines, dead on the ground without heads, sometimes you see them trapped in slaughtering machines which slaughter them, im not sure if im making sense because at the moment particular scenes from quake 2 are flowing through my mind but no game will be better than quake 4

quake 4 graphics will leave hl2 in the dust, face to the floor plus look at the story line, half machine half flesh monstrocities lumbering towards you, the sound track alone is better than Hl

Duncan, Q4 will have to be absolutely ground-breaking, to beat HL and Halo2.

If the concept of the game is the same as in Quake 2, it will possibly only be ground-breaking on the graphical level...

Err... you realize the Quake storyline isn't exactly complex or deep? It's the classic Doom/Half-Life/Quake storyline, with some minor details added. Like Hawat said, Quake 3 will most likely only be "ground-breaking" from a graphical perspective.

Personally, graphics don't really impress me, so I probably won't bother with the game myself, at least not beyond the point of playing a demo.

FPS games always have storylines that don't seem like a storyline...and strangely many other non-FPS games are also following suit... :O

guess what.. quake 4 wont be out any time soon. And by the time it is out u can say Unreal Tournament III graphics will leave quake 4 in the dust blah blah blah. The cycle goes on and on. You can only compare graphics with games that are released at the same time. It's like saying A Barton will leave a Pentium II in the dust... well duuuuh. ;)

thats my fault, i wasnt thinking when i typed in the title but its impossible to get screen shots, the game isnt even made yet thats why all i got here are models, and these models shouldnt even be released, they were obtained by hackers which stole em from ID soft, any magazine that posts these pics wont recieve any further info on quake 4 from id software, your lucky you saw them because you might not see them again.

If you played Quake 2, youl know the atmosphere of the game, i see it as an upgraded version of quake 2 a really upgraded version
