I read the prequels in English (well, only most of House Atreides, I couldn't stand how bad it was), since the dutch translation was really poor and different than the translations of the original books

I would rather read the McNelly-version, since he seems to be much more serious about Dune.. Look at the DE. He seems to like the whole Dune universe, with politics and all, not only the planets, battles, villains and hero's BH & KJA care about

Is there any way of legally obtaining this story without buying that Dogged Persistance stuff? There isn't a store here who sells that book. Anyone read it here? What's it about, and is it worth my 5 Minutes of reading?

I myself am a fan of YR, maybe I can be a part of a special YR team that incorporates the changes you guys make, and modifying it a bit so it can take advantage of the new units.. I already started a while ago on a RA2 only Dune mod but I didn't continue it, and it's a bit messy.. btw YR has Desert tiles, would it be an idea if I extracted them so you can replace for example the snow ground with desert?

It's not hard to get the TS pallete.. Just extract the cameo as PCX, open it in PSP and click Colors -> Save palette as..

ofcourse the old Dune 2 doesn't have voxels.. the easiest would be to build a vehicle 8 times, face them South, Southwest, West etc and make a screenshot, then copy + paste them in a file and make that file a SHP.. if you know what I mean ;D
