  7. Int the Hirez patch available the same as gruntmods? I use the Queue.exe and use the Hi-Rez patch that is downloadable and it seems to work? I also use the mission selector, all downloaded separate and installed.
  8. There is a possible use for the Sardaukar units that are recruited in MP which I use for the Starport. Maybe calling them Heavy Mech Sardaukar or something.

  10. WOW, yes I would use this over TibEd any day! TibEd actually limits my modding like Feda said, one has to know all the unknown bytes and its a pain to remember or look every one of them up and some are only discussed on discord which some can't use like myself. Again, it looks great and would help others like myself mod more!
  11. Sounds neat, but for me I can't use Discord, the online one refreshes all the time which causes bad lag which I can't type without freezes and I can't download the program as it doesn't work on WinXP for the download. lol

  13. Hello, I was wondering if anyone tried to look for the setting that makes the dead sprites disappearing? There must be a setting for this, I think it would interesting to see the casualties pile up?
  14. I'll play with it, Maybe I am not doing in the right order or enough times? Or maybe its the byte itself is the problem?
  15. I must have misunderstood you, because it seemed like you were saying just don;'t have both used at the same time. So you did the hex change and then started all over from scratch the changes you made with Tibed and didn't use a save? I used my saved file and it removed the change. Starting over would be a pain as there are a lot of edits, I think its easier to just change the byte after I am done with Tibed. lol I found the import feature you mentioned which is neat, but When I opened Tibed and then imported the game changes, but when I saved Tibed to game the change for the stealth was gone. I must be missing something?
  16. Fey, I did a test and if one adjust the templates.bin in the hex and then does use tibed it does undo the change. I just used Tibed after I adjusted my fremen and the stealth effect was removed afterwards. So Tibed does alter any Hex changes, so they have to be done after tibed changes. I was surprised as I thought the change to that byte would not be affected by tibed, but it was.
  17. Thank you, I have no idea exactly what will be done until I work on them and see what it looks like. I figure to take one unit and do a test, like you said a black hole may not look right etc. what I want to do is make it look like they were pulled under. Now I just need to see what works in game. Hands in the air being pulled down would look nice. lol
  18. Neat Idea, kinda like tremors movie. I wish I knew which one was the animation it would have saved time checking, but I like the idea of pulling down, maybe a black spot like a hole also. Thanks I was hoping it was unique, I know it wont be certain ones as they have weapons flying around and stuff. So I will get to work on something, and may make 2 types one with worm eating and one pulled under.
  19. I wonder is there a unique death animation for squished infantry or is it used for other deaths as well? Reason I ask is if its unique to squishing infantry then I could possibly replace animation with the worm eating them on death?
  20. Ok thanks, is there an Data16 file from one of the games like C&C Yuris revenge or similar that I could have so I can look at the infantry unit and see if it can be imported? I tried to look for a download but the game needs to be puchased and I only need the file with the sprites. I wanted the Atreides to look more human and I feel the C&C later expansions look the part. Thanks
  21. I was wondering if the remastered version of the sprite can be imported in Dune 2000? I think the infantry unit would look great. But I have no idea if that is possible and has anyone done a grphic mod for C&C that improved the sprites of units? Since someone made sprites for Sardaukar units I was wondering. I cannot download the Remastered to find out as I dont have the bandwidth for that size file and I probably could not even install it since it says windows 8.1 and above. Also maybe the C&C Yuris Revenge units can be imported? I speak mainly of the infantry.
  22. I see a useless setting for anything but vehicles. oh well. Maybe later someone will crack the code on some of this stuff.
  23. Yes that is wonderful as right now my atreides high tech building should look like the light vehicle factory and footprint. Also my grenadiers and Troopers are different.
  24. No I was asking about the Squish Range in the map editor. Its set for 9 but I wonder what setting to more would do, if that number is based on 32 per square or something else. The AI manual doesn't say.
