Nav's New Pet: Mr. Stealth Worm!

here I am on WOL with my new pet: Mr. Stealth Worm!

Isn't he pretty? Observe him owning for his Master (Me)!

Note the Carryall being owned by my Drones, almost off the screen, at the same time as Mr. Stealth Worm just finished eating a bunch of yummy Mongooses.

Sometimes my mad skillz amaze even myself.

yes, i have pioneered many, many things in Emperor but I rarely get the credit for them.

on the old WW boards i even pioneered using Repair Vehicles to wipe my worms' butts!

This occured to me a few times. I was deploying a Fedaykin, and as you know, it make take some time. And so my attention was lost to something else for a while, and when I looked back I had a stealth worm.

It's rare though

No it was not vs. an AI. I never play vs. AI on WOL, that's completely stupid.

The purple guy was skyon1. here is a screenshot of the results of that game. Yellow guy was my ally, deahtzapr.

Playing "Fixed" Skirmish games vs. yourself in order to get contrived screenshots is lame and pathetic. That's why it doesn't count.

I think that the guy worming you just didn't know how to use a worm with style. Most guys I see calling Worms on WOL nowadays have NO IDEA how to use them properly. So it might have looked like he couldn't eat the stealth harvy, but if it was being controlled by a guy like me it would have. That's my guess, anyhow.

I've picked up a stealh crate with a wormrider ages ago, so this is nothing new to me. In fact, there have probably been many others that have done the same, they just haven't posted the screenshots or told anyone about it.

yeah well guess what? The Vikings discovered America. Not Columbus. But who gets all the credit for it? Columbus: because he made a big deal out of it.

so think of me as fed2k's Columbus. if there were some Vikings before me, that doesn't undermine my discovery in the least bit, so stop trying to steal my Thunder ::)

All I am saying is that even though you may have been the first to 'make a big deal out of it', that doesn't mean that you were truly the first one to pioneer it (as in obtain a stealthed wormrider).
