Best maps for download

Which good maps can I download from this site??

get the Official Map Packs. they were made by Westwood and have one of the best maps ever made, Guild Complex

there is not much point getting other maps (ie: end-user maps) because no one on WOL is ever gonna have them so you'd only be able to play with yourself on them

There is no best fan made map. There are 91 maps that you can choose from. Just choose 1 and see if you like it.

I'd have to agree. People have different tastes, and you'll really have to see for yourself which map(s) you like to play on.

Yeah there are some many fan made ones its hard to say which one is the best. I do recommend you grab the Official Mappacks, you can check them out in the Emperor Essentials thread. Here is the list and links to the fan maps I have downloaded and enjoy playing.

For the two maps "Gunwounds PLatinum 3" and "Minotaur Deathzone"

I changed how units interact with canyons and pits.

In these maps your units WILL fall into the pits and canyons .......and must climb their way out while the enemy units can fire at the units trying to climb out.

Changes the game quite a bit so be warned when your playing,

Also the Statues and Forts you see in "Gunwounds Platinum 3" can be climbed by infantry to give them a height advantage.

And the mountains in Minotaur Deathzone can be scaled by both infantry and vehicles.

Thought i would mention these additions for anyone looking for something new.

How can you do that?? It include also a .ini file??

No, there aren't any extra files. I'm not sure how he made it that way. I think he just colored where infantry and units could pass over the objects.

I actually rode a worm down into a pit and out the other side... it was funny to see that. Lucky enuff Guns was watching his units when my worm fell in the pit so he got to see it too.

Could someone bundel all the maps togetehr so the users don't have to do it themslves? Make an "all maps" download

A little too much for me to be putting up in one file on this server.

Making different fan-made map-packs would be beter than downloading ONE BIG map pack.
