thank God i have Gunwounds on my Block List so I don't have to see his anti-Muslim propaganda along with all his other crap (and only see it when it's quoted by others on this board) but I must say I wish there was some real Muslims here on this board because as far as I know, they have ZERO representation to counteract Gunwound's crap

btw Gunwounds, the Koran is almost IDENTICAL to the Bible in many ways. they were written from much of the EXACT SAME SOURCE MATERIAL.

to refute navaros... MOHAMMED is not one of the christian prophets.

and if satan was going to make a false religion i am sure he would plagarize some too from the bible.

i am posting this because ACELETHAL said i havent supported my claims

I agree completely with Navaros, it's not fair to the Islamics that you debate their religion without them. Atleast when I do it, you guys are here to refute me or agree with me. Maybe somebody can bring in an Islamic to have a word on this?

Also, to your "refutation" to Navaros, how do you know Mohammed wrote it? Hell, maybe on his spare time Luke decided to write it in Arabic. But one thing's for sure, you don't know who wrote it.

oh excuse me.........

Do i look like a demographer??? HUH?? do i look like i know who the hell is a muslim in this forum and who isnt??

gimme a break........

this post is a continuation of a question you asked me a long while back... you specifically asked me

"hey gunwounds.. why not islam?"

well this is why.....

and acriku.... dont start debating who wrote what.... that is something you cannot debate... that is called HISTORY.

if you want to refute that mohammed wrote parts of the Quran ... well then thats your opinion. Dont tell other people that though.. they might laugh at you..

I dunno what's all this stuff but I know that a religion promoting non-violence and stuff like that isn't going the bad way (call it "Satan" or "Mickey Mouse", I don't care). Devil doesn't act against itself.

And frankly, I don't believe "spiritual entities" are directing history. Man was made free and we see the consequences of it, good and bad. I wouldn't start arguing that there's never any act done on Earth from somewhere else, but that's exceptions if they are.

I know Muslims and I saw them promote non-violence as most humans so whattever Mahomet or who cares, I know Muslims are like all humans, some being bad, and some being good. Like everywhere on Earth. Of course some are interpreting "jihad" (struggle) as religion DEFENSE, but anyway it's same for Christianity... Whattever these verses, Muslims are the same, still humans.

Now, about what you wrote, I'll read tommorrow, it's late ;)

EDIT: And besides, "it's history, we can't debate it" is attacked from every side by historians. No one is "deciding" what's true or not in history and if an error is found, so be it. It only has to be shown.

If you can provide enough evidence that Mohammed wrote it without using the Qu'ran, then so be it. And I don't think I asked you "why not Islam", it'd make more sense for you to ask me that.

Of course the koran is not very different from the bible since muhammed was a christian.

Muhammad was not a Christian he was a Muslim. Islam and Christainity share some similarities but they have stark differences.

Posted

All religions have similarities. They also all have differences or they'd be the same religion. Like people, and many other things in that respect.

All religions share one major similarity: They're all absurd nonesense. ;)

But anyways...

I hate it when I hear that "Islam is a violent religion". The acts of a few extremests do not speak for the whole group. By the same token, you could call Christianity a "violent religion" based on things such as the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, and more recently, the bombing of abortion clinics and Muslum mosques.

They aren't all nonsense, and they aren't all absurd... But at least one applies in almost every case. :)

nope.. Incorrect... Christians BELIEVE that jesus WAS the messiah

that is the most important thing.........

therefore he isnt a christian.. cause he didnt believe Jesus was a messiah.

@Dustie

??? So what is your point I know that. I was only correcting where Empr Hark said Muhummad was a Christain and he was not.

I was agreeing with what you were saying about religions rather than the people in them. And thinking that maybe it was kind of stating the obvious... But that's ok. I'm sure that some people needed it :) .

Posted

@Dustie ok np.

Muhammad wasn,t a Christian but he believed in Jesus and his message. He was simply not the Messiah but instead a prophet.

Yes that is true the Muslims believe that no man can be God (ALLAH) it is blasphemous to say one is God.

I am talking in the most general sense. Christian - a person who follows Christ's teachings.

the Bible and the Koran are mostly identical. it's only the parts that relate to Jesus where any significant differences come into play. this is because the Bible and Koran were both compiled from much of the same documents, but some documents that were "left on the cutting room floor" of the Bible ended making it into the Koran, and vice versa. as usual, Gunwounds has no idea what he's talking about saying evil things about the Koran because for the most part, it's the same book as the Bible

Believing whether christ was messiah is a HUGE difference.

If you dont understand why that makes the bible and the koran different .. then you are ignorant...

According to the koran it is blasphemous to say god could be a man and jesus said he was God...

Dont BS and say "oh they are all the same"

Jesus saying that he was God is a BIG deal and that makes Christianity and Islam MILES ...apart from each other. It means they are different... it means they are not the same.. it means there is a big difference....ok i think you get the point. The fact that the Koran steals scriptures from the bible to make it appear as some reputable source doesnt make it the original.. the mormon bibles steal things from the bible as well but we dont go and say that makes the original bible disreputable..

man.. some people...

And i am ignoring what Nav says.. he refutes me only to refute me.. if i said the sky was blue he would refute me.

so his posts are irrelevant.

Muhammed had very much contact with christians. he was trading with them. and it was through them he got the christian belief, he simply went further and made another religion on his own based upon it.

Like christianity upon jewism

GUNWOUNDS wait a minute Jesus can't be God maybe I know nothing but he never said he was God. He usually refused that title but accepted being the "annointed one". Satan can not tempt God I believe he can't even attempt to tempt God.
