I decided that there should be a "Site Updates" thread for Dune Editing, like the one in General.

So, if you have any important announcements/queations/etc. post them here.  Please try to keep the spam to a minimum.  Don't repeat things that have already been said.  Don't just promote your mod.

-The "Index of Important Mod Topics" thread has been updated.  If there is anything missing, or if something is incorrect, IM me or post it here.

There has been a new patch for Corrino's Rvenge added.  It should work with both 1.2 (the current full version, the one with the install program) and 1.1 (patched version of the original).  It has only been tested with Stand-alone v1.2, though it should be dual-compatable with v1.1 as well.

New patch for CR!  The last one may not install correctly, plus I forgot the most important change to the Howitzer Tank!

Here is the readme (The readme is also cumulative, so some of these things were changed in 1.3.  New changes are in bold.):

Readme for Corrino's Revenge Patch 1.3.1 (Upgrade from stand-alone 1.2 or ZIP archive 1.1)

This patch rebalances the Corrino Howitzer Tank, adds 1 new icon, and improves patch compatability.  Tt is cumulative with 1.3, so there is no need to download patch 1.3 first.

Changes:

-Corrino Howitzer Tank range increased.

-Howitzer Tank damage and HP decreased.

-The shot from the Howitzer Tank no longer tracks it's target.  It is now much less effective against moving targets.

-New icon for the Tleilaxu Living Turret

-The patch is now dual-compatable with both stand-alone 1.2 and patch 1.1.  I'm certain this time. :P

-The Corrino's Revenge Team

While Fed2k moved to a new server, I was able to begin work on a modding database, just like the one at dune editing, so whenever the server is down or slow, you can get the mods you want there. you can find it at http://modding.eglador.com. i hope to soon get all of the mods on my comp uploaded, but it will take some time.

I think the Dune Editing website needs some modifications. Making it more modern.

Maybe some new colors and such, but especially a new lay-out. I mean the mod download list is just one big list, and maybe it could be if you click on a mod, you'll get first the description, and beneath that, the files which belong to that mod. Most mods have only 1 file, but some have patches, and it may come in handy if they are all packed together under 1 link.

I noticed that the voting system doesn't work, and I believe that is so for a long time, and the links to the other editing sites could be updated.
