The soundtrack doesn't have any new music, it is all found on the game CDs.

I downloaded the music player from howiesfunware.com and 'save target as' and play them ;)

FInally I found the song of my choice,The Machine.

If you're looking for 'new' Empr music, look for the empinst.aud file hidden away on the install CD. (It might be in a mix or rfd file, I can't remember)

Thank you Nema for pointing me towards the "hidden" music file! I found it in the SetupSetup.mix file of the install CD. I think it's a mix of several pieces from the soundtrack with a few added loops and instruments.

Gob, as to the soundtrack CD (of course -I- would have ordered it along with my pre-order of Emperor) there are no repeating tracks. What you may be referring to are two mp3s in the music archive on the Atreides CD that are identical. These are 8) "Infiltrating Harkonnen" and 9) "Unsuspected Attack".

Interestingly enough, the CD I received with the game did not come in a jewel case, like that displayed in DjCiD's post, but one of those white envelopes. I'd be interested in hearing how the CD was distributed to tournament winners.

I am tired of the atreides music. only some tracks are good. The ordos music fits to the house it is meant for, kinda spooky if u ask me. it is very good, but not something I would listen too

I like the Mod music for Kwisatz Haderach ;D (gee I wonder why ^-^) I replaced the original bag with the Corrino music for Ordos and Atreides and kept the Hark music 8)
