Why didnt USA attack Saddam last time?

Recommended Posts

Just a question: what exactly does USA call disarm? Beeing in the permitted limits (no nio, no missile more than X range...) should normally be enough. Otherwise, how can Saddam be declard disarmed except by bombing the country, puting depleted uranium everywhere and puting someone favorable to US into power? What other way than that is considered "disarm"???

You obviously haven't checked the new CIA-approved dictionary yet... ;)

"to disarm" = to fully surrender to the United States

And other highlights:

"terrorist" = a person that the US government doesn't like (see also "communist")

"democratic leader" = US puppet

If saddam didnt disarm for such a long time already. Why didnt USA attack him last time? What's their reason?

because the UN ordered a cease-fire in March of 1991 and the US (regrettably) obeyed the UN orders.

hopefully we learned our lesson about obeying the UN.
