Dang, I voted for the wrong one :( I think there should be one board (Even tho I voted for two). I would think that Edric would be a great moderator, but emprworm and he might deviate from topics into private arguments within them. I don't mean this as a criticism, I'm just saying it probably wouldn't be a good match up.

I say no change. It may be dividing us but starting a board for it/them would make FED2K far too... ... too... ... real? I like discussing politics every so often but having a board dedicated to it would remove much of FED2K's charming non-commitance. Making a board is like saying you think it warrents attention, which it doesn't. This is a Dune site, with General as an extra. Not the other way around.

I can see your point Dust Scout and I thought the same thing too but there are a lot of posts in General on those topics and always have been but not everyone wants to get involved in them so it might be best to create another area for them. And as the site grows its scope has changed a lot too.

Let's look at this objectively. It becomes obvious that the last thing you should do is give either me or Emprworm Mod power in a board regarding an issue that we feel so strongly about.

In fact, the only person I know with the ability to stay objective enough to moderate something like that is Nema...

Anyway. As i have a disslike for politics and Relgion debates. I wouldnt even post in the matters. Since i dont like getting into the debats on here as you can see. I would remain un biassed :)

Thats why i think i would be a good mod for the section :)

Why would you just want one board? It may get a little confusing swiching back and forth from politics to religion or vice versa. If your gona do that, make two.

I would love moderating this board :) While I may not show this all the time, I have read a variety of religious and political material including eastern religions, marxism, socialism, and several democratic pieces of literature. Although I'm sure you could find significantly more unbiased people :) I think I would do a good job.

Nema is easily among the most intelligent people here, he could moderate a board on anything :) He would definitely be one of the best choices :)
