Its not true, but just though i'd see what you guys think. :) Personly i liked it. :)

There was a poor man. that went to a church. unfortently for him however, he had ragy cloths with holes in some areas(like maybe his shirt, and he din't look very decent.)

He went to a Church. as he started to go in someone stoped him. they said "Hey, you can't come in here! Get some better looking cloths. Come back when your dress very nicely with a tie or something.

So the man, sad went and sit down. thinking he couldn't get into the house of God.

Then the Lord came along walking, and sit down beside him. he said "Hey. hows things going?"

He said "Not to good, I can't get into that church over there. they said i needed to be dressed better. and i can bearly get enough money to feed myself. i've tryed everthing, they won't let me into your house."

Then the Lord said "I know, i've tryed everthing too. they won't let me in either."

What do you think? i think it ends kind of funny. :)

Yeah, but it also means themselves (the ushers, that is). They wouldn't let God into their own life (i.e. by showing compassion toward the bum), despite the fact that they work in a church.

I thnk that the reason why they wouldn't let god in is becasue they don't belive that their god is that kind of god, so they expect soemthing diffrent, but mayby it's just me?

Typical story of sects, trying to lower might of Catholic Church. Altough lowliness and ascetism aren't bad things. But I think it cannot be true. Homeless and other worsely clothed are on every mass.

Yes, the Roman Catholic church has ushers, but they don't seat you or anything in my church. They just pass those baskets around. You know, the ones that are full of money so that you can take what you need? ;)

I haven't really studyed what they belive, (which hopefully about to real change soon) And i wasn't 100% sure.

Thats an interesting story. I think it would bear more reference to the saying that the meak will inherit the Earth. Their putting God in with that lot.
