***FIRST OFF I'M NOT CONTEMPLATING SUICIDE***

lol, ok. this is a song from the movie, Evangelion: The End of Evangelion. As you know i'm a big fan of anything eva. I know a lot of you haven't seen it and probably never will but it's an anime movie from the series evangelion. I downloaded the song a little while ago and now i can actually UNDERSTAND the lyrics. lol. well i just thought the lyrics were pretty good.

I know, I know I've let you down. I've been a fool to myself. I thought that I could live for noone else. But now, through all the hurt and pain. It's time for me to respect, the ones who love me more than anything. So with sadness, in my heart, I feel the best thing I could do, is end it all and leave..forever. if you've seen the series and not the movie then you might understand what's going on. If you've seen the movie, you'd probably agree that it's a good song. If you haven't seen either, you might think it's good and you might not. the thing that makes it good IMHO is the sound. it just sounds so upbeat at such a terrible part in the movie. go listen to it if you haven't

Yep, its a good song, good movie too. Whenever I feel the urge to see the Human Race die off, I just pop that into the DVD Player, get a little freaked out, and watch the 18th angel take its place.

Btw, I'm a wee bit in an arguement with a few people. Do you think thhat Shinji killed Asca at the end or not? I say he did, they say he didn't.

he didn't. if you think so, re-watch it. He starts choking her, then he stops and starts crying. Then i think she says, 'How disgusting.' (which was actually the WRONG word to use, i don't remember what she actually said but it wasn't that)

i don't know what it is tho. whenever i listen to that song i just get chills up and down my spine.

Evangelion is cool I have the whole DvDbox set containing all 28 episodes (no movies thou :'() anys the ending of EVA on hte 26-28 episodes is weird.

25 and 26 actually :P there's only 26 episodes of eva, unless you count the LAST two in the movie on top of the LAST two from the series. in any case i'm not starting another evangelion thread because we already pretty much covered everything in the last one. lol. i'm just stating that the song kicks ass ::)

I always thought "How disgusting" sentence said Shinji.

Shinji grips Asuka. Then she raise her hand and cares Shinji's face. Immediately he stops with his assault and find she loves him. When he think about his last action he feels disgusted, some kind of japanese "sorry" :-

I've seen a few of the EVA episodes but not the movie. The idea of the pyshcology episodes was novel, but really, if I wanted to investigate the inferiority complex and how to beat it I would have visited my local psychologist...

lol. just a little more complicated. and i think that shinji being somewhat lacking in the sanity department was one of the main ideas of gendou in the first place. remember, he WANTED to release the eva...i think.

yes he wanted to create a new genesis for mankind, how could he do that if the evas had to be controlled always? Once it had acquired the S2 organ it potentially didnt even need Shinji.

evas always have AT fields, thats why they are good against angels, indeed THEY ARE ANGELS themselves.

Which is why the Dummy plug system is not very useful as it negates the evas most powerful weapon- the AT field.

lillith was the second angel i believe. Adam was the first. the evas are ripoffs of adam if i remember correctly. and humanity is the 19th angel. 8)

so do i :P i haven't watched it in a while. all i knew is that it said we were the last angel. i just guessed 19. however i know for a fact that the first was adam, the second was the lilith, and the third was Sachiel. the first/second episode was sachiel. i also know the first impact....i think was what created the moon. Second Impact was the tragedy of 15 years ago on the continent of Antarctica which created the 'true dead sea.' and Thrid Impact was when humanity was erradicated. i do believe this is correct.

(i know you probably know it but i'm putting it in there to show it off to those who have likely not seen it. maybe this'll make them WANT to see it. lol)

yeah and lilith was at the antartica insident same with misaro and misaros father was a scientist there that died ,Evengelion is Awesome #1 anime go see it.! ;) :D

no, that was Adam who was later reduced to an embryo and implanted in Gendou's hand.
