I just couldn't believe it!! I thought it was a fluke or a lie when I heard it on the news! Scores of homosexuals are SEEKING OUT AIDS! They fantasize about the "moment" of infection as being the most erotic moment of their lives. Can you believe this? IT is totally true!! This is no tabloid or a made up story.

In the gay community, the people who are looking for AIDS are called "Bug Chasers". The ones giving AIDS are called "gift-givers"

The terms that gay people use are getting "pozzed" or looking for a "poz" via bareback (pozzed means having sex with someone who is HIV Positive, bareback means no condoms...so when a gay person says 'I want to get 'pozzed'" it means that he/she wants to become HIV positive)

THis is unreal. People are wanting to die. I am truly baffled. I need some time to think about this and maybe in a day or two i'll post some thoughts as to what is driving so many people from the gay community into willful suicide.

This is a factual post, not meant to offend anyone. The truth must prevail so I'm hoping this thread will stand. Well if they want to go and infect other people, I would question whether or not that would be a case of 'assisted' murder. Even if the other person consents to being infected with HIV, this would be kinda like Euthanasia, only via a different method. The person receiving the injection would still be put to death, even if it is eventual in this case, and not immediate. Why someone would want to get infected by HIV is something I find hard to comprehend.

earthnuker, this particular phenomenon appears to be stricly in the gay community. there is no evidence of heterosexuals seeking AIDS in this manner. if you were referring to people doing sick things in general then of course, but the "bug chasers" and "gift-givers" are within the gay community from everything I have read. In fact, it seems to be stricly isolated with men of the gay community, women apparently do not share a fetish to be pozzed. at least i haven't seen anything showing that.

Btw, AIDS isn't necessarily lethal. With modern medicines the effects can be postponed almost indefinitely, but many unpleasant side effects occur.

AIDS is 100% lethal as far as science is concerned. a life on AIDS cocktails is NOT pleasant, as you slowly deteriorate.

as far as heterosexuals actively seeking out death in even a related manner such as this....not for any religious reasons, but for reasons of sexual pleasure, I have never heard of anything like this.

lol, don't start with this nonsense vicious. i was just waiting for someone to come along and accuse me of saying "ALL gays". I very very carefullly worded my post hoping to prevent that, but I guess you still came anyway.

This is what disturbs me the must 'Married guys are fair game', this means that (take it they are married to a female but doesn't really matter) he's wife will get AIDS as well without knowing it, and that is the same as murder in my mind.

As for people wanting to get AIDS, well I can't really hold them back.

And I think it's HIV you can live with not AIDS but I'm not quiete sure.
