Those m-f's that made the Code Red virus, I swear I will personally torture them to death all my long life if I get my hands on them!!! They've slowed down the whole net, and for what??? So that they they can be famous??? I hate that kind of people, do something good for the sake, help people, make better computers, WHATEVER! Why screw it up for every else???

I hate them too, my comp was screwed up for only an hour or two though, I managed to fix it up pretty quickly ;)

i thought it didnt effect home computers? that is what it said on tv.

I know that, it slowed down the net. I had to run a huge amount of programs to begin to counteract the effect. I didn't mean that I solved the problem, lol :P

it's pissing me off to no end too. for like the entire day yesterday i couldn't actually sign into MSN. and i've been d/ling the mappacks again and i was getting like 1kbps (56k :( ) and my mIRC is messed up to no end too. there's like 10 bots on in my favorite section. :'( (notice how i never actually said i got anything off it... ::) )

The primary effect of code red was a worm that came with it. It was supposed to attack the White House's infrastucture some where in the last months of that year.

White House officials found out about it a few week prior and changed all IP adresses and server tables. The effect of the worm was none. Home useres being effected was just an side-effect.
