Emperor: the War in Space

ok... so I said i wouldnt be making any more mods... well I kinda lied ;D

This mod is inspired by Total Anihilation: The war in Space and will take place, you guessed it, in space!

There will be two main types of units: fighters and deep-space ships.

Fighters = small planes, deep space ships= vehicles.

now, should this mod be based in the dune universe? or a different one?

If in Dune, what houses?

To make a starcraft mod, you would have to create really, really many pictures for each new unit. I think the rest of the modding is easy, though.

As for the houses and units, i will leave that up to you cause i have no clue what is possible?

Maybe include the naibflyer ( flying unit in emperor worm campaign ), but one that can fire and travel like the normal naib tank..

You could use the rock as space platforms and the sand as space.

The spice could be an asteroid field or something you could get materials from.

However, texture would maybe give you problems

no vehicles(except some sort of mining device) must be able to go on san-Um space, though.

Dust Bowls could be Nebulae, with only certain units allowed in. But if you're only unsing flyers... :-

I would suggest using normal units with the hover ability for the bigger stuff (think of Aircraft carriers and battleships in naval terms), and use flyers for lighter craft (aircraft, maybe small destroyers/gunboats in naval terms).

Just a thought though.`
