What do you mean with "It's bad against many units"? I mean, heavy armor is the only limitation, well and air ofcourse but that ain't too much of a problem.

Good: good against clustered units.

infantry, light armoured tanks, buildings.

defence.

its good in groups, or in groups with multiple units (kindjal + minotaur + airdrone + fremen warrior)

Bad: its weak against fast units.

its weak on his own.

it has no defence against air units.

its pathfinding is bad.

its slow and wil reach the battle later meaning that they're vulnerable for an longer time.

its reload time is slow meaning that he's vulnerable after he had shot his ammo, atleast for awhile.

I hope this is enough ;)

this is incorrect. a few exceptions apply, but this is not generaly correct. there are more fast units that it owns than fast units that it doesn't own.

to answer the original poster, Minos are the backbone of *any* good Atreides army. I am not saying to build only Minos - or you *will* lose, but you do need Minos and a lot of them if you are going to beat any good player as Atreides. the rest of ken's points are pretty good.

Yeah, good combinations of units are always better then just a single horde of for example: buzsaws or minotaurs.
