Gobalopper
AlteaDeo has posted that Cryo will be making a comeback after a Canadian, Richard Wah Kan, has agreed to takeover. Here is a translated clip from the news article:Cryo's coming from far away. The Commerce court of Paris had pronounced octobre 1st the liquidation of Cryo Interractive. The parisian editor was ordered to continue his activities for 15 days. Something exceptionnal, that kind of threatement normally given only to mega societiesThat time gave a new opportunity to evaluate a new offer to take-back the comoany, as other had been refused before. The retaker is a canadian "holding" (written in english in the text), created especially for that occasion. His founder is Richard Wah Kan, ex-president of Dream Catcher, american part of Cryo. Richard Wah Kan preserve his place a Director of Dream Catcher, and get the direction of Cryo in the same time. As stated in the term of the "comeback" of Cryo, all the employee still in the company should preserve their job, except for Jean Martial Lefranc, persident of Cryo, who quit his functions.AlteaDeo also pointed out that this may not include Cryo Networks, the people working on Generations, but it does mean that the chances Generations will be released are better then before. Although I wonder how many Cryo employees are willing or able to return to their old jobs?

Caid Ivik
Cryo lives in death! They have a place in history, but I think their fall was caused by low quality of their last projects. If Cryo come back, it won't do much.
gunner154
I don't think Generations would be completed. If they have financial difficulties they're doomed. Still it's good hoping. Their programmers and designers and such can shift to another company, like WW (u all hate WW), or something else, even Liquid Entertainment, to continue Generations. AlteaDeo
posted that too on Fed2k's DG's board...--Manisse posted in the french's DG board...Yes, cryo is alive. Cryo is games like Versaille and such.DG is cryo networks.Yes Cryo interactive had been taken back, still, Cryo Networks had closed their doors on august 3th 2002. For now, nothing let us think that Cryo want to re-open Cryo Networks, as for Dg, as for the DG's team.Still, Cryo (interactive) still got the lisence of Dune. AlteaDeo
well, Cryo [interactive] had been taken back.Cryo networks had been closed down on august 3rd. Interactive wasn't closed at all. That is the difference. Still, like Manisse said, Cryo [interactive] still have the lisence of Dune, so, they might try some things, I don't know.
