Go to Orloks website that is listed on the links page here on this site. There are pictures of sardaukar from a calender that came out in late 70s and the art is amazing. Also concept art from Jedorowsky's attempt at Dune with the famous artist Mobius' idea of what the sardaukar looked like.

I liked the sardaukars from the miniseries the most. in all other places they it looks like they are good soldiers only because of all the protection armour. and that wouldn't be likely

They do look like nazis. The Sardaukar in the miniseries were the best.

They do look somewhat fierce, but honestly I'm not very fond of Japanese style anime. I think that they show a little to much of that.

i liked the miniseries sarduakar, except alot of the actors didnt fit well as sarduakar, they seemed to short and fat to me. i like the nazi sards, and i like the games potrayal too.

The Sardaukar should look more similar to the Stormtroopers from Star Wars. The colors different of course.

I doubt that sardaukars would have helmets, body armor and such stuff since they have shields.

and I agree some of the sardaukars in the miniseries are too fat and short. they should be tall and muscular
