graphix are realy good, but this game absolutely brings nothing new. I don't understand why it would be so much better than the original UT. only graphix have improved

Like I said, " I " played the game.

It doesn't look or play like Quake 3.

There are new cool things.

If a body is flying in the air and hits the ceiling you can really see the head move against the ceiling and moves down.

It interacts with the enviroment;

If it hits the wall, the body bounces off the wall.

Weeeeeeee, foot ball!!! :)

It does and it's very realistic. Unlike the other games that has been made recently.

I just hope if the network code is good too, seeing people iceskate all the time and iceskate down from a platform is a bit irritating.

Ice skating is lag yes, but unlike Quake 3 and some other games that doesn't have the Unreal engine.

Players starts to slide with high speeds over the battle ground, and it's very annoying, since they can abuse the ice skate feature with cheat binds.

Iceskate? I am not aware of what you are referring to - I have never experienced this problem.

Acriku, I have had the game since the day it came out, and have been playing it non-stop. I can't recall a single time when half of a body "fell through" a wall. It will always react exactly to the environment; if there is a wall there, he'll bang against the wall, then slide down it (totally kick ass ;D)

Rax, I haven't played the game so I was hoping it would have good death physics, and since you say it does, SWEET! I was tired of that happening in UT.

If you play on a server with ping 30, you will barely get the ice skate problem.

If the connection times out, you see that icon next to your screen with UT, if that happens everybody starts to iceskate and it looks so darn weird.

No one seems appalled by Renegade's graphics but have tons of praises for this. I don'tt see much difference, this game was probably played with the highest graphical settings on a 64MB video card.

Renegade would look like that too with similar settings.

Um, no way! The engine used for Renegade doesn't support pixel shaders right? Also other additions of Direct9 and shweet Unreal engine (being modified all night long ;)) would go into factor for compatibility.
