I've just got wind that the mods aide, in some parts, a person to cheat.

So, no more answers plz - i am satisfied and wont pursue this mod anymore.

I don't understand how a mod could aid a person to cheat. Unless all the people in any given game all have the exact same mod installed, the game will go out of sync and there will be no cheating at all. ???

if you change the values for build time, speed, etc. it won't. I think it is new units/turrets.

So you're saying that a mod could enable a person to pump out a unit that would normally take say 589 ticks to complete, in just 10 ticks or so? :O Without the game going out of sync? I didn't know that!!

What are you talking about? You can make the death hand charge in 1 second. In my mod I made the sardaukar build in half the time.

yes, i guess it would not work, it is like changing the game engine making it a completely different game when you think about it.

I see. Although it seems to me like a program could be designed to allow the two work by two sets of rules. Like two different mods with Atreides, one has a new unit the other doesn't, the game should play like that.
