TLContaminator Posted September 16, 2002 Author Posted September 16, 2002 i said 1 unit vs. inf+vehand 1 unit vs. buildingsand the other houses have1 unit vs. infand the other is vs. veh
Mad Rhetoric Posted September 16, 2002 Posted September 16, 2002 Whoops...Sorry,I guess I just overeacted.
TLContaminator Posted September 16, 2002 Author Posted September 16, 2002 Um,arent we getting a little off topic? :)Frankly,I like House Ix the best, cause even though they cost alot, infeltrators are infinite stealth, and can take out large groups of infantry or units at one time. The projector can duplicate ANY land unit, infinitely.they dont cost alot the guild cost alotyour right almost every topic i replyed got off topic
Devastator_Mech Posted September 17, 2002 Posted September 17, 2002 Indeed your right, Guild is the most expensive subhouse out of all the houses.
ken124578 Posted September 17, 2002 Posted September 17, 2002 and for an good reason too, they got the most powerfull tank that can fold space ;)
Devastator_Mech Posted September 17, 2002 Posted September 17, 2002 Yes, fold to an area where the Kindjals are waiting for them?
IxianMace Posted September 17, 2002 Posted September 17, 2002 Yes, fold to an area where the Kindjals are waiting for them?Well, if you're a moron then yes. ;D
Devastator_Mech Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 Not Kindjals? Ok, change it to Fredaykins.
TLContaminator Posted September 18, 2002 Author Posted September 18, 2002 i dont know what will wait for themthey dont wourth the money they cost
IxianMace Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 Not Kindjals? Ok, change it to Fredaykins. If you know that a spot has lots of Fedaykin waiting, and you teleport NIAB tanks there anyway, you're even more of a moron than you would be if you teleported the NIABs to a spot that is defended by lots of Kindjal. Fedaykin annihilate NIAB tanks even faster than Kindjal would, since the NIAB tanks can not move for a few seconds, allowing the Fedaykin to take their shots.
TLContaminator Posted September 18, 2002 Author Posted September 18, 2002 yes wasting your enemie 2000 solaris
Devastator_Mech Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 Fredaykin is cloaked, how would you know if there is or not? Does that mean you'll never have a chance to teleport them?
IxianMace Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 I said previously: 'If you know that a spot has lots of Fedaykin waiting...'. In most cases, you probably won't. But I'd be a little bit suspicious if there is a large empty spot in the enemy base that looks poorly defended, while the rest of the base is crawling with defences. 8)
Devastator_Mech Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 Lemme tell you, if you use that as your standard, then you'll not dared to send NIAB's in, because there's heaps of poorly defended area in my base, the centre is the worst.
IxianMace Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 Lemme tell you, if you use that as your standard, then you'll not dared to send NIAB's in, because there's heaps of poorly defended area in my base, the centre is the worst.Well most players will seize an opportunity that they see on the battlefield. They'll probably try doing it (teleporting into an apparently poorly defended area of your base) the first time, and if they discover that it is actually very well defended when it looks like it isn't, then chances are they either won't do it again, or they will come with much more the next time they do it.
Devastator_Mech Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 LOL, then im in trouble.About i usually build turrets in the middle of the base and the units from the side could help too if they really come in.
TLContaminator Posted September 18, 2002 Author Posted September 18, 2002 if i choose the guild and when i see a well defended base i attack with a niab or two when under half health i tell em to teleport back to my base
ken124578 Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 2 niab are not effective against an well defended base in my eyes, i would rather take his econemy (since he's concentrating on defending his base he leaves his harvesters unprotected)
ken124578 Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 if i choose the guild and when i see a well defended base i attack with a niab or two when under half health i tell em to teleport back to my base with the ai it works though ;)
ethan Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 ok, with strategies & units end of discussion, tleaxiu suck, & ix rock. okay?
Devastator_Mech Posted September 19, 2002 Posted September 19, 2002 I do agree with the tleilaxu bit, but not the Ix bit.......
TLContaminator Posted September 19, 2002 Author Posted September 19, 2002 tleilaxu rocks! but ix is ok
Devastator_Mech Posted September 19, 2002 Posted September 19, 2002 Whatever, rubbish comes out of your mouth anyway.
IxianMace Posted September 19, 2002 Posted September 19, 2002 end of discussion, tleaxiu suck, & ix rock. okay?I'll give the Tleilaxu some credit because of their Leeches. Ix rock however, because of the power of infiltrators and what possibilities that projectors provide. Overall: Ix rock!! Tleilaxu are somewhat useful.
