ethan
when you use units...dont use one type. combo them together.eg.dustscout, lasertank, deployed kobras, devis.flamertank, missle tank, assault tank, devastators.mongeese, minos, repairs, bikes, sonic tanks ( front row )
Timenn
You don't have to call your own pathetic ;)You mean for defenses now? With Ordos, I will ONLY use Kobra's (+ AA Troopers, but behind the front line) And only Lasers for a backup. Dust Scouts maybe. With Harkonnen, You can put the Inkvines behind your lines. They can add something too. With Atreides, Yes Mino's. With also some Sonic Tanks before this. But that's better if you play against the computer. You can also place stacks of Kindjals behind the first line, including Snipers too. And have those Repair Vehicles standing by. Mongooses you can place more behind. To take out any airborne

Timenn
If there is such a Mino horde coming, I will stop it alot with worms already. And you don't them so quick. I have earlier that combo with Ordos. And this wasn't only for online
Devastator_Mech
Worms? If i see any Fredaykin deployed, you think it'll last long?
Timenn
I don't think you see your minimap enough for that, and I will call worms in safe areas...
DukeLeto
Yeah, but worms are hard to control, slow, and VERY vulnerable to concentrated fire. Enough minos, and it's no prob. 8)
Devastator_Mech
Safe area? Where? In the spice field?
ethan
where there are fedykin/warrior kombos around..... :)
Devastator_Mech
Well a combo might protect it, not definately not a fremen combo, becorz a scout is always with me.....
Timenn
A Fremen warrior's range is bigger then that from a scout (decloaking of other units). Or you must micromanage it that way, that it costs loads of time
ethan
how about a few buzzsawsif ordos chaos lightning hits a deployed fedykin, does he stop thumping?
Devastator_Mech
A Fremen warrior's range is bigger then that from a scout (decloaking of other units). I'll doubt a fremen could uncloak enemy units....
ethan
yes but he could have a scout too.
Devastator_Mech
I'll doubt most players will bring a scout unit in a fremen group.
ethan
you never know.....
Devastator_Mech
common sense, even though both are cloaked, you need to take extra care of the scout or it'll lead to the death of the whole fremen group, which commander will take such a risk. ethan
you dont have to have the scout as part of the group, though.the scout could stand a few tiles away so minotarous splash damagae or mortar or kobra wont take out the group
Devastator_Mech
Everything is about speed in the game, who'll waste so much time on it........
Timenn
And then you complain about Ordos??!But I mean that scouts walking with such a group will not always be cloaked. And that is the time for the Fremen to strike
Devastator_Mech
Thats why you have a multiple of scouts.....but you need some micromanagements too.
Edric O
If everything is about speed, why on Earth do you complain about the Ordos??
Devastator_Mech
Everything is about speed in the game, who'll waste so much time on it........What i mean by that is speed in building units, the speed in gaining money, the speed of your reaction, and not the units speed. To me, power is always the key to victory and not "speed" as in your units speed. e.g if your devastator is too slow and bearly makes it to the enemy base, then use faster units to make way for it or airdrop it in while your faster units is already fighting in enemy's base.... Edric O
Well, that's your playing style...
