Bring back the old IM manager...

Gob, it would be a good idea to bring back the auto-remove feature for IM or the checkboxes that allow you to delete multiple messages at the same time.Take me for example: I have 105 messages in my Inbox and that must be taking some space... but deleting them one by one would take me forever! :-

i bet this is the onlyu option nav likes since he hasnt started a poll to get rid of it back to normal... ;D I agree thats the only thing I dont like about it is having to clear on at a time.

Well if he does, then the 35 limit will probably come back, so it will do most of the work for you ;D

i didn't really like the 35 post limit, i would get these messages and i would want to keep some of the old ones, but it would automatically delte the oldest ones. Plus, if you're like me, I am always logged in, and i go straight to the Dune Editing Forum from my history. If I did not go to the main forum index, my messages would never get deleted. But I think that it should be like 50 limit, and that when you are over, you pick which messages are removed.

The old IM center was a custom mod that someone else wrote. As far as I know something similar isn't available yet for this version. It will be out eventually I suspect.

The reason there was a limit is that some people had tons of messages and didn't really need that many. Currently there are no IM limits as that was part of the old mod but they could come back. Just like Hotmail there has to be some limit.
