Do you need gun turrets ?

I usually manage with just rocket turrets. Place them behind a wall and they kill evrything that comes by ;D

Well using them together helps because the rocket turret takes longer for it's next firing this way the gun turret can cover for the rocket turret during this period of time. Also the rocket turret detects units before they come into the range of the gun turret (I think) this way an enemy unit already has damage before the gun turret has fired apon said unit, making it that much less effective. (IMO)

Before I found out about the update of the game, when the trainer still worked. Me and Dub_c used to build large grids of walls and rocket turrets, nothing could get thru and the ornithopters died instantly. And i did not pay Dub_c to say that.

You'r right Shogun-FS, When you use them combined like that that works.

It's just my tzctic to just build rocket turrets. And Ok they detect enemys a bit later and need longer to reload. Nut if you have a entire wall of thoose turrets, you [ I ] don't care about that. It just stopes all units anyway.

So again, either way works. Just your personal preferences that counts :)

I thought it was about Dune 2000 in general. So I took the fact that your strategy is what you liked to play /use.

And then I usually use savings of higher levels or multiplayer games.

If I have to apply it on the first levels then I don't build gun turrets. Not my style.

:)
